Brolly didn't destroy a "galaxy", only a few planets. Not to mentiont hat he didn't destroy all of those planets at once. But one at a time. And I'm under the impression that the DBZ Galaxies have less planets then an average Galaxy would.
besides, there are a lot of Omnipotent gods in Anime that could just blink and Brolly or Gogeta would just be erased from existance.

And, doesn't even matter since the anime is full of PIS. That's why I don't even want to use it. No one in the DBZ canon can blow up a galaxy.

Broli was said to have destroyed South Galaxy also but it wasn't in one attack and the life was the only thing missing. Destroying being weaker then you isn't really that great of a feat. And it never shows Bojack actually destroying planets if I remember right. Destroying the galaxy would be killing all life in it but that wouldn't be destroying planets or stars and such.
Nobody in DB series is the most powerful being in all anime. Sure Gokou could take out Terry Bogard, he could take out Negi Springfield, he could take out anybody from a majority of Fighting animes but there are a few fighters who I know could kill him with ease and any god that isn't from the Z universe could. All gods in DB are weaklings so them being stronger then those gods aren't that big of a deal.
Planets I can see SSJ4 Gogeta doing with ease and he could take out a galaxy that way but he isn't doing it in one shot and he isn't doing it quickly...Well or at all since he'd die in space but if he could survive in space he could but only by blowing up one planet at a time.
King Kai clearly said that Brolly destroyed the galaxy, not to mention it clearly shows the galaxy disappear in a few seconds (Brolly did it with ease), that is what I call absolute proof. So debating against that would be senseless and denying clear facts. Also Brolly did not fight in that same galaxy. The fight took place in the same galaxy as Earth.
Now, Brolly is significantly weaker then SS4 Gogeta...lets see, SS2 Goku would be stronger then Brolly, SS3 would be as well, SS4 would be a total slaughter. SS2 Vegeta would beat Brolly, SS4 Vegeta would be a total slaughter. Now, lets put both of their powers together at SS4 level... Absolutely Unstoppable. Not to mention that Gogeta is basically unkillable (thanks to Goku).
Gogeta has the power to destroy Omega Shenron with 1 attack and with little effort put behind it. And Omega Shenron has the power to destroy entire dimensions (with time).
The only character that is stronger then Gogeta is Shenron in his most truest unbound form, he could just think him away.
Gokou went to the South Galaxy. Funny I remember him standing on a planet that just had building destroyed. He reaally destroyed everything there. Broli's been going around destroying things for almost 30 years and King Kai's going to say something about him just now? Yea I doubt that very much that Broli hasn't done anything in those thirty years to get King Kai's attention. Plus if Broli did destroy the whole galaxy in one blast his father would have been killed also because Paragus would have been around.
And Gokou isn't unkillable and neither is Gogeta because Gokou can be killed he has been plenty of times. And did Omega Shenron ever destroy dimensions??
