✅ yes, but yours is more likely to "trial and error method".

what i presented is TRUE to any 9 consecutive numbers.

you can use any 9 consecutive numbers like 2-10, 12-20, 51-59, 34-42, etc.

😎

nope, i knew 15 was the centre number, you told me 18 was in one corner.... therefore 45-15-18=12.... then we just fill in the rest logically

I rather want to make this thread a Mathematical Mind Bogglers... instead of making another thread... 😄

I have a question...

How would you make SIX = 9 aside from positioning it upside down ?

😎

this is a roman numerals question,,, IX upside down is XI or something, making 9? something to do with 9 i roman numerals, i knw that 😛

🙄 well, that was juz a clue... you can put them in very corner...

what i mean there is that... the process i made was true to any 9 consecutive numbers... not just 11-15. 😉

try the numbers from 20 to 29...
get the median then determine the common sum... then the process proves itself...

😎

✅ you got me there... 😆

well, to make SIX = 9.. juz simply cancell out the 'S'

then you'll get IX = 9

😄

Need more Magic Box?

Let's do some shuffle in the problem then. Given the series of numbers from 35 to 43 and the partially filled-in Magic Box below, complete the Box with these numbers, at the same time figure out what the Magic Sum would be.

Another Magic Box Problem

Find out what series of 9 consecutive numbers that can be formed in the Magic Box if the Magic Sum is 21. Please fill-in these numbers in the Magic Box.

^goodness i should know how to do this....we learned all about series, and sums in my last math class....i should just go find my notes 🙂

🙄 😎

i got it! 😄

38 43 36
37 39 41
42 35 40

and the magic number is 117

now...on too the series stuff...(i'm such a nerd)

now, on to the second one... 😎

grr...i'm getting frustrated....i'm looking through all my school stuff as we speak, and i can't find it! i feel as if this wouldn't be hard at all if i could just find that equation!...Sn= 1/a (sub something)....convergent, divergent....if only i could remember!

sorry no2 bt I can't tell ya. 😎

😛 well, i don't have time to solve it now, i've gotta get going...but dont worry, i'll be working on it, i will not let your math problem get the best of me! 🙂 I'll ttyl my math friend! night! 🙂

😉
😎

Magic Box aside, who can figure this out?

If VenomfanFan is 20, Abbita is 15, Frost and Pao are both 5, and Clovie is 10, how much is Vampiree by the same system?

😄 anybody?

😎

hold your horses mr. smarty pants...i've just about got the second magic box problem figured out! 😎
