Well appartently he hated the last 2 alien movies, so how could he not have.

james cameron is also 2blame.. but i mean he didnt want n e thing2do wid termminator n e more..i mean4him whole story was told nothin remaining.. so he just wanted2cash in

I do also pass blame to Mostow for doing such an awful job.

what about a CG of arnold in the movie, then he could be lead actor in the entire movie????

They wouldn't be able to pass that off throughout the entire movie. He would need to do the voice, and nobody could get his Terminator-movements down like he has. It would never work.

Maybee impossible, but it would be better than no arnold anyway. We have to waait and see. Still thinks his gona bee in it.

I think its pretty doubtful we will see any Arnold at this stage.

Its all up to the studios if they want to try and make some last minute negotiations.

Terminator 4 eyeing shoot in Hungary?
Posted on Tue, 8-Feb-2005

An invasion of bone-crunching cyborgs in Hungary? Apparently; though don't look for an Austrian time-traveller to help stomp them out.

According to a rumour on The Arnold Fans website, "Terminator 4" - which by the way, will likely go ahead sans Schwarzenegger contribution - will likely film in a spiffy new studio at Etyek, Hungary.

Uber-Producer Andy Vajna has a big stake in the new studios apparently, and has already slotted the sequel into it's flatplan.

The studio won't be finished until 2006 though, so if its true, "T4" is going to be quite a while down the track.

The film is expected to feature an all new cast. In addition to Schwarzenegger, it was recently announced that Claire Danes and Nick Stahl won't be returning. With some rumours suggesting the film will revolve around a young Kyle Reese - the character Michael Biehn played in the first film - I guess they thought the latter couple were expendable.

On a side note, the above site is rallying to get Schwarzenegger in the sequel - at any cost, including having his likeness simply CGI'ed into proceedings. Would anyone notice the guy on screen is merely manufactured?

I think it would be pretty obvious, like Neo was in some scenes during Reloaded.

T4 - Biehn Back? Wimmer Willing? Moeller's Musings?

Hey folks, Harry here with tons of TERMINATOR 4 speculation... Seems they want to start shooting later this year, but the likely fan revolt which will inevitably leave bodies strewn all over the place is sure to get ugly if AHNULDT isn't aboard in some capacity. Wimmer's a very cool choice - and personally Biehn's the coolest actor from the franchise. Here ya go...

Ralf Moeller, from TV's "Conan", is in talks to join another Schwarzenegger-related project, Terminator 4, says the magazine BILD.

MoviesOnline.CA transcribed news from the magazine which says he is meeting with the director about a role in the film - but it isn't stated for what role or whether it's a big or small part. My guess is he'd be merely one of several terminators or something.

"The producers still hope to get Arnold Schwarzenegger for a guest-appearence.

Ralph Moeller is a former Mr. Universe, who was also the German Bodybuilding Champion of the International Federation of Body Builders, a champion boxer and worked as a professional swimmer for seven years"
Then A.B. King went into geek spasms - and began sending me multple emails:

AICN,

Seems T4 has gotten the entire FAN community VERY UPSET!!!!! This is like George Lucas f***ing up EPISODE III to many Terminator fans. Mario Kassar and Andrew Vajna seem like money hungry producers and want to only rape and f*** T4 and Schwarzenegger over!!! How could Kassar do this after he made enemies with Arnold back in 1994 by shelving CRUSADE and rekindling his friendship with the oak on T3?!?

I don't know what will happen with T4, but Mario and Andy better wisen up and pay Arnie mucho dollars and film Terminator 4 in California like the governator wants...or T4 will FLOP BIG TIME. Here is the scoop and link:

Beihn Back!?!?!?!?

ABking
Which was quickly followed up with:

Harry, your boy KURT WIMMER might direct T4!!!! Image in CRAZY action war scenes, CRAZY STUNTS and hopefully a CRAZY GREAT script. Here is the link and scoop!!!!

Terminator 4 Movie Roundup

Director: Kurt Wimmer Genre : Science Fiction Action Adventure

Movie Section : Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines Movie

The sequel to Terminator 3 is getting a hell of alot of attention to say the least. Why is that? Because in my opinion its going to kick some hardcore ass lads! The latest rumor out of the hollywood machine is that Kurt Wimmer will be directing Terminator 4. As with anything its way to early to say its final, but its still most interesting.

A user at AintItCoolNews had his own speculation or idea for a plot in T4:

So do this with the plot: Have Nick and what's her face surviving and getting stuff organised (probably start T4 with the last few minutes of T3, a la Back To The Futures) and also show the robots "evolving" (which would be a great sci-fi thing to see) Anyway, blah blah death camps, captured, smashing metal motherfu*kers into junk, then at some point they come across a young (10-ish) Kyle Reese - who has been targeted for termination by some old T-600's! So John Connor has to protect his own dad, and you could also have the idea of John being a father figure to his own father (strangley enough) and filling that void in his own life. Stuff explodes, people get laser scanned THEN we go a ways into the future and do some makeup to create an old Nick Stahl (hopefully better than the "Old Mose" in Ten Commandments) and he sends Kyle back in time to save his mom. (This would be the film's falling action/epilogue) That would completely wrap up the series and bring a final continuity to the whole thing. Point A leads right back to point A! PS: I DON'T think a "good robot" should help John, it should be gritty with humans fighting robots and that's it.

Although I'm very much against the idea of having a T4, and I do think the movie will suck unless Arnold is the main character...I LOVE the idea of the "protection person" being a young Kyle Reese. I never thought about that, and it makes perfect sense as the next character that needs to survive. Salute to you on that idea, great job.

Maybe there are workable idea's after all.

Looking forward to T4. I don't know about anybody else around here, but with a movie I know I want to see, i don't want to see the trailers for it; I don't want any clues to what the movie will be about. But if the title is 'war against the machines' or some such, will it be a "final conflict" sort of war or just the first chapter?
Previous poster mentioned Claire Danes and Nick Stahl ( I liked 'em both). Loved the scene where claire Danes shoots nick Stahl with the "gun" and she says to him: 'next time bring a clue, not a paintball gun' hehe... then they put a dog food dish in the cage with stahl--another cute touch. you know the guy who will lead humankind to victoryin a dog cage. hehe

How about this...Kyle Reese about 15 years old, and Connor at whatever age he'd be (I'm lazy, don't feel like thinking tonight) The main premise of the film is to find Kyle Reese, help him escape from one of the camps, and protect him.

As for Arnold, two possibilities:

1. Arnold is bad again.

2. They could alter time a bit and have it so one of the first sequences is Arnold trying to kill John, and someone saves him. Then he reprograms Arnold (this could mean that it is the Terminator from T2 OR T3). For the rest of the movie he could be on their side helping to save Reese.

At the very end, it skips forward in time, when Reese is old enough and they send him back, plus they send back the Terminator. I guess it would make sense for it to be the T2 terminator then. If they did that, they shouldn't have the assassination attempt, it should just be that they stumble early on upon a small group of deactivated Terminators that they reprogram.

How about that?

T4: Duel of Destinies...how about that for a potential title (not the best I know but it got me thinking a bit)

damn mmissed out for a day and got this.. interesting plot i must say, arnold can never b involved wid t4 if its in hungary(or where-ever it is getting shot)... the plot of a young kyle reese is certainly interesting and the ultimate finale of the story must b john connor sending kyle reese back in time. this is sure gonna b interesting, but at the same time this could turn into a HUGE HUGE mess, timelines might just about get more twisted, this is still a MONEY-DIGGING business remember, mario kassar only cares about cash i doubt they will bring a good story line in 1 T4 movie thats impossible how are they gonna skip through the years that john connor and kate brewster were stuck in the HIDE OUT SHELTER, i certainly wanted2c the story develop story... i haf not seen 1 sign indicating this may b two movies t4 then t5. i certainly bellieve this movie will suck, but that dont mean i aint looking forward to it. coz afterall it is a terminator movie. oh boy i haf lost it here

Exactly right Alic, they could just as easily make a meal of all this.

Had they kept Danes and Nick then they could have had a very interesting beginning to T4.

They could start the film where T3 left off which would take place immediately after Kate (Danes) and John (Nick) were in the shelter and nearly everything had been destroyed. I say about 15 minutes of explaning how John and Kate lived through the explosions and how they managed to find and unite so many people. Then after that they could have some type of subtitle appear like "10 Years Later" or something similar and we could jump to the point where John and Kate meet the problem/situation/crisis involving the young Kyle Reese.

Oh and very nice ideas and plots people. 😎

February 18, 2005 — According to Movies Online, Kurt Wimmer ("Equilibrium"😉 will be directing "Terminator 4".
