Lynn blinked. "Hey...yeah, you're right!" She said brightly. Lynn flipped onto her back, holding the magazine above her and flipping through pages apon pages. Finally, she let out a squeal. "That's it!!" She exclaimed, sticking the picture under Heather's nose.
It was a vert pretty dress, the color of a darker green. It had a small slit on either side to about where her knees are, and it was strapless. The botton looked a bit curvey (um dunno how else to explain it. You know how sometimes on the bottom of a dress, it aint cut straight, but sorta waveyish? Yeah....). And the bottom draped on the ground a bit.
"I WANT IT!!" She yelled, grinning in delight. "Waddaya think, Heather?" She then asked quite eagerly.
"You should get it, you know. Now if you don't mind I really think I better finish my homework. It is due tomorrow, Lynn," said Heather. She gave Lynn a small smile, before she rolled over onto her stomach to the small table, where her homework lay.
Picking up her golden spectacles, that lay on the table, she shoved them upon the bridge of her nose. Lazily she dipped her quill into the ink pot, to get fresh ink upon it. Pushing some of her red wavy hair behind her ear, she stuck out her tongue in frustration. Finally she tried consulting the book to find some of the answers for the history essay.
Four hours of intense studing, passed Heather by. She took off her glasses and streched, before she headed for the girls' dormitories for the night.
Lynn nodded. She stood and stretched about an hour before Heather went up. 'Wow...she's intent about school work...' Lynn thought, but then began to silently make her way the portrait hole. She went through and began wandering to the kitchens, her stomach informing her for it's sudden need for more food...
*Um, next day, morning*
Heather flopped around on her bed. She reached for her golden specs, that layed on her table next to her four poster bed. Quickly she hopped up and went through her trunk for a fresh school uniform. Finding a nice creased one, she wrestled it on. In another second, she was running a comb through her very knotty hair.
"Are you up, Lynn?" asked Heather as she stuck a ribbon in her hair.
Lynn grumbled noisily and sat up sharply, bags under her eyes. Who know what time she had actually gone to sleep? She stretched and yawned, attempting to get out of bed. It took a few tries.
She quickly changed into a wrinkled uniform (it had a tear on the skirt from her constant running about), then put her hair in a low pony tail without brushing it. "Righto! Let's go!" She said, grabbing her bag.
Lynn rolled her eyes. "Of course I am,"
She also slid down...but being Lynn Wood, she needed to make it more daring. She slid down on her feet. She almost landed on her butt, though. "Breakfast!" She sang, then continued on singing a song about breakfast (she was simply picking words outta her head and singing them...).
Heather supressed a giggle as she collected her books that had fallen onto the floor.
They wandered through various corridors, hallways, up and down staircases as they talked. Finally they came upon the wooden doors of the Banquet Hall. Heather stopped talking as she looked at all of the students which were quiet and pale.
