All three jumped up, pouncing for an attack. well, Lynn was so excited and angry, she did not reach for her wand, as Josh and Zach did. She lunged at him, landing a punch to his head. But it did not do much, instead the boy smacked her down to the ground, causing both boys to growl with anger. The wind had been knocked from Lynn, and she was dissapointed in herself for being so weak as she lay on the ground.

Bth boys shot powerful stunning spells at the boy, knockingg him over backwards, releasing Heather. They rushed to Heather and Lynn, Zach helping Lynn up and Josh helped Heather.

"Are you two ok?" Josh asked, looking worried. Lynn's hit seemed to be slightly worse then it seemed, for she felt like her arm was on fire. But she smiled, a very forced smile that looked fake to even the densest of people. "Y-Yeah, I'll be fine, ok. Heather, your fine, right?" She said, trying to stand. Zach helped her up and she did not discontinue clinging to him for support.

"I'm fine. That was just very unexpected," said Heather.

Lynn nodded, glad her friend had not gotten hurt because of this. She tried to walk by herslef but Zach wouldnt let her. "You guys stay here, i'll take her to see the nurse real quick." He muttered, letting Lynn climb on his back as if the 15 year old was giving the 12 year old a piggy back ride. Lynn waved, offering a not so reasurring thumbs up.

When the two left, Josh sat again. "Lynn's insane, going after him like a muggle would. He's at least twice her size."

"She should of at least tried a spell. If she thinks before she does stuff I think she would be a great witch. She just needs to work on the thinking bit," said Heather. She collapsed on a sofa near Josh and she twirled her wand around in her hand. Worry was etched into every line of her face and sometimes she'd get up to pace the room. Josh would always push her down if she looked like she began to tire herslef out. "Why did she got after him? Doesn't she have common sense?"

Josh nodded, and couldn't stop the grin. "You're very right; Lynn great with magic....it's just..." He paused. "Ever since her childhood she's been so protective over everyone, even people she disliked. It's just how she is, since she was old enough to worry." He said slowly, trying not to say much, or Lynn might kill him. "I'm pretty sure she was just so worried that you might get hurt-she didn't think about the outcome of the battle on her part. She seems to do it a lot."

Meanwhile, on their way to the nurse, Lynn was quite silent, holding back tears. No, she wasn't crying because of her pain. She was crying for Heather had almost gotten hurt; and it was her fault. If the whole Quidditch thing hadn't happen, this wouldn't of happened. But then Heather wouldn't be on the team...It was so confusing. Lynn let out her thoughts in her tears, getting Zach's shirt slithly damp. He sighed; not again, e though. If Lynn didn't stop how she acted, soon it might be fatal...

The two came to the Hospital Wing a couple minutes later. Josh rapped on the door several times before a disgruntled Madam Pomfrey came out of her office looking bedraggled. "What is it? Why are you here at this time of night?"

"Lynn fell down from the girls's staircase pretty hard. From the looks of it she twisted her ankle pretty bad," lied Zach. Lynn gave him a small smile. She had made him agree to tell Madam Pomfrey that she had fallen down. If they had told the fighting bit let's just say they might be serving detention for a while.

"Well, bring her laddy don't just stand there." Madam Pomfrey supervised as he dropped her onto a bed nearby softly. "I'll have to keep her overnight. Come over straight in the morning and she'll be good enough to go to classes. Now scat and run along!" She ushered Zach out of the room and slammed the door in his face.

Lynn opened her mouth to protest. "ALL NIGHT!?" She yelled, sitting up and attempting to get out of the bed, but she winced and Pomfrey pushed her down, then examined her leg. "Oh yeah, looks almost broken. I can fix it, but I still want you overnight."

When Zach arrived back, he yawned.

Heather looked up from Josh. "So, what'd the nurse say?" She asked.
"Nothing much, cept she's gotta stay overnight. Then she slammed me out of the ward so..." Josh laughed. "Well then I say we get to bed, it's pretty late." Heather spoke up after a few minutes of silence. They agreed and went on their seperate ways.

( In the morning )

Lynn, who had just been released from the hospital, sprinted as fast as she could down the halls, trying to find her way quickly to the common room. She was worried-who knows why? Finally-she had gotten lost a few times- she burst into the common room, panting. They were all up and had just gotten back from breakfast, and were sitting around. Zach jumped, looking up. "Lynn?"

Lynn ignored him and ran to Heather. "Heather!!" She practically yell, and collapsed on Heather.

"Whoa! Take it easy! You act like you haven't seen me in a long time." Heather patted her friend on the back. She gave Josh a smile before she untangled herself from Lynn on the ground. Grabbing her friend's arm she pulled her up. "You don't want to get hurt again you know."

Dusting herslef off she grabbed a nearby quill and she was soon seated near a table writing. She had to tell her parents about being selected on the quidditch team. She'd have to tell them sooner or later. Better now!

"I havent! ONE WHOLE NIGHT!" She then decided to collapse onto Zach, and looked ready to fall asleep. "What, you didn't sleep last night?" He asked, poking her. "No," She answered. "I kept trying to sneak out the the nurse wouldn't let me!" She heaved a sigh, and closed her eyes. "Looks like i'm a pillow now." Zach said, rolling his eyes.

Josh blinked. "What are you writing?"

"To tell my parents about making the Quidditch team. Hermonie wants to know all that happens at Hogwarts. I know it sounds stupid, but oh well. To do anything, I have to follow their rules, but Ron could care less you know," said Heather. She put down her pen, so she could look Josh in the eyes. "Ever since he got that new job at the Ministry, it seems that's all he's been caring about."

Josh let out a low 'hmmmmm'. "Well, it's his job and everything, but maybe you should talk to him about it?" He said, only really pondering out loud. He did this a lot. Lynn jumped awake. "OHMIGOSH!!!!" She screamed, making Zach bolt up, heart thumping. "LYNN you'll give me a heartattack!!" She ignored this statement, and swiftly ran up to her dorm in such a hurry, one of her shoes fell off and sat there on the floor below the staircase.

"Not everything in the entire world. Like he doesn't know everything about me," said Heather with a chuckle. "He doesn't know that now, does he?"

(( Lol sorry, I'm confused ^^; ))

(She's talking to Josh, she didn't notice Lynn go upstairs)

Josh shrugged. "I Guess," He said, not quite understanding her...he didn't understand most girls.

Meanwhile, Zach had run after Lynn, but forgot about the staircase, and came crashing back down in a heap. "Erg..."

"Let me try. Don't you boys know that you can't climb our staircase it just isn't done." Heather stormed up and knocked on the door that led to the second's years girls bedroom.

Zach glared at Heather and rubbed his side. "I forgot!" He sighed.

Crashed were heard inside the common room, and so was a hurried, "Come in,"

Inside, Lynn was throwing the contents from her trunk around the room, searching desperatly for something.

"What are you looking for?" Heather asked Lynn.
