"It's something I wrote!! We need it now!" She almost whined, although her words were not all that clear. Finally she stood, a look of pure victory in her eyes. "I found it!!" She squealed, grasping a piece of wrinkled parchment with words and noted writting on it. Without warning, or picking up her mess (She'd do it later), Lynn zoomed back down to the common room, and jumped on Zach. He let out an 'oompf!', but took the paper and read it. "It seems ok..."

Josh snatched it and studued it, scribbled out a note and replaced it with another. "That should sound better."

"What's going on?" asked Heather. She was truly puzzled.

Lynn, who had made herself quite comfortable on Zach (despite his constant protests), showed her the paper. It was a song in Lynn's writing (which was sloppy, by the way). It had notes as well.

"Likey?" she asked. "I did it during the summer, right before we got here.."

"You have nice hand writing," said Heather with a forced smile.

Lynn pushed Heather. "Shut up!" She said defensively. "Go get the stuff! I want Heather to see!" She exclaimed, and the boys rolled their eyes and headed for their dorms. "You'll like it, I promise!" She exclaimed brightly.

"What is it?" asked Heather suspiciously.

Lynn sighed. "You're clueless!" She said, although was had start a fit of giggles. "It's a song, silly!"

(Lets fast forward to the week before the Yule ball 😛)

Josh sat silently on a chair, working on some Transfigueration homework alone. It was a week until the Yule Ball, and she still hadn't gotten enough courage to ask her.

(😂 Can you guess who 'she' is!?)

(...It's Heather 😖hifty: )

Heather was repeatedly wringing her hands aas the gray haired Snape droned on with his lesson. "Wesaley, are you listening?" asked Snape. His face was sneered in her face. She almost could smell his greasy hair.

"Yes, I'm listening," said Heather as she began copying down what he had on the board for ingredients.

Lynn had to cup her hand to her own mouth to keep from bursting with laughter. She sat a few seats to the right with Zach, and gave Heather a wink for no reason what so ever, then went back to doodling (even tho her drawing skills her quite...erm, well she isn't a skilled artist) whatever she'd been drawing instead of note taking.

Heather shot Lynn a disgusted look before she covered her hand ove rher mouth in pure laughter. Moving her quill swiftly across the paper she reviewed her horrendous hand writing. That trait came froom the great Ron Weasley himself to her disappointment. She thought that she wouldn't be able to read it later, either.

Lynn turned away, almost unable to hold in laughter that was desperate to escape.

*fast forward lol*

that night in the common room, they all had piles of homework....but Lynn was flipping through book apon books full of pictures of dresses for the dance. None seemed to fit what she wanted, though...

Heather's quill zipped down several scrolls of parchment at a time in very great speed. Shaking out her hand she turned to Lynn. "Aren't you even going to do your homework?" asked Heather with a raised eyebrow. Like her mother she picked thought homework was a top priority.

Rolling over onto her stomach she joined Lynn on to the floor. "That's a pretty lavendar. I think it would be good for the dance. What do you think Lynn?" Also Heather got the gene of being distracted easily from Ron.

Lynn's nose scrunched in dislike. "Homework? Ick,"

Her green eyes wandered to the dress Heather had pointed out; it was very pretty, elagant, yet simple. "You should wear something like that to the Yule!" She exclaimed, marking the page. "It would look great on you,"

"I never even said I was going. Plus we got those essaies from history, potions, and transfiguration. I just can't fit it into my schedule! Please don't give me that look!" said Heather as Lynn turned her outer lip in. "That is not working this time." Heather's voice cracked a bit before she saw Lynn's puppy dog eyes.

Lynn gave Heather the look she always saves for occasions such as this. She offered her puppy doggiest look to Heather, drooping her face and whimpering like a lost puppy. "Heather..." She started, clinging to her arm.

"No, as I said earlier it will not work this time." Heather crossed her arms over her chest and looked away from Lynn. Laughing she gave Lynn a smile and said, "Of course, I will come. Everyone else is going. Aren't they?"

"Yay!" lynn squeeled and tackled Heather. "Yup, everyone's coming..." Lynn glance around, the room was empty by now. "Guess what.....Josh told me he wanted to take you," She said in a sing song voice.

Lynn sat back against a chair. "Zach's taking me, he asked me like 2 days ago," She explained, giggling over Heather reddening face.

"He. . .said. . .that," croaked out Heather. Her face glowed a really bright red and she tried to hide it behind a bit of parchment. Lynn was quicker and she removed it with a grin.

"I never thought he liked me. Its so hard to tell what boys think; let alone know who they really truly like. I guess that's an honor or something," said Heather with a grin. She twirled a bit of her hair between her fingers.
