Lynn smiled brightly. "It was made by me, Zach-" She nudged Zach's shoulder. "and Josh." Josh was currently dancing on a table.

"It was probably the hardest to gather food and people." She said, shrugging.

"Amalina was pretty good. But you have great potential! She can see the chaser in you. Dont worry."

And with that, both Lynn and Zach left Heather to dance on the table with Josh, music booming out of no where.

"Thanks," said Heather once again. She held back a yawn and leaped off the table. She gave Josh a smile before she silently began to climb the stairs away from the party. At least Lynn didn't catch her on the stair until the last moment.

Lynn shove Zach out of the way quickly, causing him to fall of the table. She ran up to Heather and dragged her back down. "No way! You. Party. Now!"

Lynn glanced around. "Hey...do you have the hots for Josh? I can totally hook you up with him..."

"What are you talking about? Me and Josh. That's funny," said Heather with a little laugh.

Lynn giggled. "Oh, come on! I saw you smile at him like that!! Well? Well? WELL?" Lynn did not wait for Heathers answer. She whistled over Josh, who was almost a year older. Josh jumped down, walked over, and flicked Lynn on the head.

"Hey! You git!" She joked, pushing him. "Anyway, Heather-" Lynn winced as Zach rubbed his head cause she had pushed him. "Oh, how bout you two talk? Zach's gettin mad..." With that, the young girl ran through the crowd and offered a 'im sorry' hug.

"But, but, but, Lynn I can't-" shouted Heather to her friend.

But Lynn was faaaar too busy talking with Zach to hear Heather over the booming music.

But she did hear someone announce that kareoke was about to start up. Lynn was the first to the makeshift stage, made off a few tables pulled together with clothe draped over. She grabbed the muggle styled microphone and the music started up soon after.

The song was by a muggle, but it was one Lynn loved a lot. It was Evanesense, the song 'Falling Forever'. Her voice was stunning, almost every head turning to look.

Heather heard her favorite moody song boom in the muggle style stereos. Whenever she got depressed or angry she sang it. Maybe even when no one understood how she felt.

She looked to where Lynn was singing on the stage and the Weasley drifted into the music. Without realizing it her voice joined Lynn's on the stage. Her heart flowed in her veins as she released her feelings in a mad flurry of song. Song that was nearly bursting in her overburdened heart. A heart that needed to let go of maybe a few things.

Her voice intertwined with Lynn's and it made a beautiful melody that flowed like a stream. That was until Heather realized that people were staring at her did the song stop flowing from her lips.

As the words of the song paused, Lynn swiftly jumped down, her feet carrying her over to Heather. Lynn's hand grabbed Heathers, then Wood lead the Weasley to the stage. An extra microphone was pass to Heather by Cindy. The words then started up again, and the two girl started singing, their voices intertwining beautifully.

"I'm fallin' forever-!"They sang, Lynn smiling. She did not know that Heather was a singer. Lynn hereself had quite a life full of it, but she would never of thought this Weasley could- and boy could she! -sing.

All too soon the song ended and Lynn did a kick into the air, a small sign of vicory. Zach stepped up next, with his guitar. He, too, was very musical. It happens that he actually plaed usic with Lynn even before they came to Hogwarts. "At first i was just gonna have Lynn up here with me. But since you seems to sing, you can too. I hope you know the song." He said, winking at the girls.

"I hope so too," replied Heather with a sheer little smile on her face.

Lynn rolled her eyes. "Heather, you WILL!" She whispered as Zach started strumming the first few cords of the song. "It's another Evanesense one! 'My Immortal'." She whispered. Zach and Lynn ofter did this song.

"I'm so tired of being here.." Lynn started. It was strange how such a happy lil girl sang such depressing songs. Perhaps their was a side to Wood that no one discovered?

"I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone..."

Heather's lips moved silently along with Lynn's in unison. Softly for an effect Heather's waved her long willow wand in tight little circles. Purple sparks flared around the room like they were on a soft breeze.

Giving a brief smile around the room she began a simple dance routine to the song. Pausing for an effect she stuck her wand in her hair like chopsticks. Twisting around to another part of the song her cheeks started to flush. You couldn't normally get her to do this!

Lynn giggled. Heather was...a ham after all!

Soon the song ended. The Gryffindors appluaded, whistles also ringing through the room.

Now a 5th year named Kate was up, singing a song by the 'Wierd Sisters'. Lynn gave Heather a thumbs up and sparkling smile. "-be right back!" She called over the noise, following Zach over to a slightly empty section of the common room. meanwhile, Josh approached Heather.

"You were great," He commented, grinning.

"Thanks. I'm um. . .not normally like that. I think Lynn's turning me hyper or something," she said as her cheeks turned the color of a cherry ripe for the picking.

A shriek was heard from Lynn. When a few people, icluding Josh and Heather, looked their way. What a sight. Lynn had, obviously, had jumped on and hugged Zach so unexpectidly that the two toppled over to the flow. Now Zach was on top o Lynn and it was a quite funny sight.

Lynn jumped up, grinning her head off, a tint of pink on her cheeks. "Nothing to see here!" She said. Even the music had paused. But soon it all began again. Josh sighed, rolling his eyes. "Those two..." He muttered.

"are sometimes very weird," she said with a little smile.

Josh blinked, and laughed. Zach and Lynn had walked off somewhere that was more secluded for privacy.

"You're idiotic," Zach muttered, shaking his head while tsk tsking. Lynn offered a fake pout. "How so!?"

"YOU KNOCKED ME OVER! Are you gonna turn American and become a 'football' player?"

"I didnt tackle you, I hugged you!"

" They're the same thing with you..." This got him a playful slap on the shoulder.

Heather gave him an unsure smile and itched for her wand. Grasping it she swung it in the air summoning a cup toward her. It spilled a bit but proved that her summoning spell was a work in progress.

Zach scratched his head in puzzlement and Heather answered with a simple, "I like magic doing maybe too many things for me is the reason why." Folding her arm over her chest she inspected him for a reaction.

He gave her a blank expression that made her have some of the punch spill out of her nose. They both started choking with laughter as an irritated McGonagall appeared in the common room.

Lynn swore under her breath and she and Josh went to greet her pleasently, as if the party that was going on around them wasn't anything but a mere casual chess game.

"Why, what do we own this wonderful surprise vistic, Professor?" Asked Lynn. Mcgonagal's nostrals flaired, causing both of them to gulp and step back. The angry Professor yelled at them all and killedthe party, informing Zach, Josh, and Lynn that they shall serve detention for a week starting tomarrow.

Once everyone else went up to bed groaning, Lynn sat, the two boys on either side of her on the couch. Room for one more, Heather, near Josh. "Well I hope this detention thing dont interfere with your guy's band practice!" Josh muttered, staring at the flames. Lynn sighed. "I dont think it will, McGonagall never makes us stay THAT long." She replied, Zach nodding his agreement. It appeared that Lynn and Zach were in a band...

"Hey Lynn, I never was able to say 'thanks' earlier, I really appreciate being on the Quidditch team it means a lot to me." Heather locked her hands in front of her body and said the words very softly so only Lynn could hear. "Sorry about the detention too."

Heather got up to retire for the night when she felt a tug on her arm. "So your the new chaser? I didn't think you would be good enough." Nearby her stood a tall fifth year who sported a very long nose which his glasses slipped down occasionally.

"What's it to you?" Heather looked him over to note that his arms were heavily muscled and that his hands twitched for the wand in his pocket.

"Well, I tried and lost to a little second year. How do you think I feel?" He smiled with an evil grin that made Heather's friends behind her wince.

"I didn't know you wanted to be it so bad. You could have gotten it if you talked to me about it. Its not that big a deal," replied Heather. She felt herself being lifted from the ground and she saw the kid's ugly green eyes.
