During World War III a great hero for the United States rose named Sefirah. He was a skilled soldier and many say he killed one hundred men in one minute with nothing but a combat knife. After the war Sefirah vanished after a mission at the reactor at Iraq. Professor Hipkins went into research and started Project: Chaos. After World War III cooled down the world was finally united under one flag called the United Nations of Earth.
WWIII ended six years ago and the disappearance of Sefirah happened three years ago. No one seemed to have an answer for the events that happened but as time passed more and more people begun to vanish. President John Quiin received message that in France a group of people have been spotted and many were on the missing people list. With that Quiin sent forth Wolf Squad Alpha Team...his best team...and they too vanished.
Everyone will start out in Brooklyn. Please people have original stories. The mysterious past thing has been over done and killed. No super powers or anything like that. No one is a demon or angel just a regular person. As the story progresses more and more events shall happen and; well you'll see.

I agree, Quincy. I've recently witnessed a rise in one-line posts, lack of proper grammer, and god-modding RPers. To be quite honest, it's getting to the point that one doesn't want to take the time to try and understand what is being said, let alone wrack one's brain to get a couple of detail paragraphs out for a post.
It makes me think that the world is becoming more illiterate. Or perhaps people are just becoming lazier because it takes me all of 30 additional seconds to spell check my work on the computer and maybe a minute or two to reread everything.
The whole trend of RPers towards the "star-action-star" type of posts is a real let done after you open MS Word and type up two pages of detailed interactions. Add that to the all powerful characters that can blow the world up with a snap of their fingers and you truly don't feel like bothering at all.
And what concerns me the most is that it isn't just the Unhosted RPGs that this is happening to, it's the Hosted games as well.
