I agree, Quincy. I've recently witnessed a rise in one-line posts, lack of proper grammer, and god-modding RPers. To be quite honest, it's getting to the point that one doesn't want to take the time to try and understand what is being said, let alone wrack one's brain to get a couple of detail paragraphs out for a post.

It makes me think that the world is becoming more illiterate. Or perhaps people are just becoming lazier because it takes me all of 30 additional seconds to spell check my work on the computer and maybe a minute or two to reread everything.

The whole trend of RPers towards the "star-action-star" type of posts is a real let done after you open MS Word and type up two pages of detailed interactions. Add that to the all powerful characters that can blow the world up with a snap of their fingers and you truly don't feel like bothering at all.

And what concerns me the most is that it isn't just the Unhosted RPGs that this is happening to, it's the Hosted games as well.

Tell me about it. People seem to ignore the entire function of spell check completely. I mean it was placed their for a reason. I agree with all that you said. I noticed more and more RPers are trying to be more powerful then one another in an RPG for some reason until you might as well start calling them gods.

I also noticed that RPers try to change the story themselves without the host's permission to turn it into something they want and when you try to take it back and progress the story once again next thing you know they get pissed off at you. And these 1 sentence response are getting kind of lame as well as how people won't use proper grammer.

If they are going through the trouble of joining an RPG they can take a minute or two to try and become good RPers instead of just trying to be gods. The entire point of an RPG is to tell a story; nothing more and nothing less. People seem to have forgotten that for pointless battles that go no where.

I remember an Rper named Peacefulwarrior. He was new and everyone doubted him. When he first started Rping, he rped as if he has been here for a very long time and knows the rules. We need more newbs like him.

I remember another Rper named Durza! who rp's like a childish numbskull.

I remember another RPer named Dyingstar who godmod like there was no tomorrow. Always getting in arguments with other RPers for no reason what so ever. Always had to win every single fight and then complained because the main antagonist seemed overpowered.

This guy char james has about 4 or 5 powers that is unknown how he got them.He started with Ice.Then Fire.Then some type of magic. Super fighting skills. Now all those along with super speed.

My char had different powers at one time or another but she lost that power when she took on an new one.basiclly swicthed from having telepath,weather,and T/K at the same time to going feral. I never use my char like he dose

from ice, fire, Alchemy,Super fighting skills, super speed its getting ridiculous

next he's an all out god. let not forget his Char Tech. after we told him Blyze was the only one who can get into the hero files he breaks in away. the only char i see he's good with is morph & Jordyn

yeah i gave up useing him cause there is no point if he keeps overshadowing my people

Ha he claims the super fight skills and speed that over 100mph to be Ninja skills.and he can only do that for five seconds.I don't about the power it's how many he has.

1) i think it's the fact that every power has an weakness so they try to get as many powers to make it hard to kill the char.

Check out his earlier posts.....terrible RPER and no one respected him. I cant belive I did 🙁
