Was Powergirl in any way hurt before she assaulted Darkseid? Superman had just recovered from Darkseid's initial attack and got shot in the back. He probably wasn't bracing for the shot and/or was slightly weakened.

Then again... it could just be that Powergirl's power > Superman's super.

Yes, she has been in a looooong battle prior to Darkseid and in the previous issue she got rocked pretty good by one of his punches.

Maybe, she did far better then the new Earth 2 Superman. I doubt it though

Actually, Powergirl has been a beast durability wise. Tanked a punch that tossed her a galaxy a way. By some unknown alien brick.

Or maybe Omega beams aren't as powerful as before because Darkseid is weakened due to the fight with JLA in Earth's end.

and yet one issue later Darkseid casually owns Alan Scott with one blast and a shove. I'll go ahead and say that this was an insanely good showing for PG; especially considering how DS steamrolled over val-zod with ease.

The whole reason he is attacking Earth 2 is because he is weakened and needs to feed apokolips earth to get at full power.
