James turned to Remus. "Help? Chill Moony. Besides, I never blamed you, man." He said, laughing.

Lydia looked horrified. "Um, yeah, well, it's nothing, at least nothing that anyone would want to help with." she blushed before turning away from James. She couldn't bring herself to even look at him.

James, being slightly dense right now, didn't understand her feelings. He didn't realize he was that popular.

"Wait! Where you going?" He asked, rumpling his hair for the 1000th time today.

Lydia didn't move. "I...I'm not sure. I. . .I think I'm going to " her voice trailed off as she whispered. 'throw up.'

But James caught her whispered words. He couldn't help but let out a small laugh. "Throw up? How come?"

Lydia felt like she would die right there. "I, uh, well, you, um, spoke to me."

James looked confused, then slightly understood. "Ahhh! I get it!" He said, laughing. "So, what's your name?" He asked, grinning. Lily sighed, rolling her eyes, muttering, "What a git..." And walking off.

"Evans! Where are you going!" He called, but no respond. He shrugged, he would catch up with her later.

"Lydia." she said trying not to scream in frustration at why she was so shy.

"Ah. Hello Lydia, i'm James potter." He said, flashing a smile.

Lysia blushed. "I know. I mean, nice to meet you." she said looking at the floor.

James laughed. "Yeah. Well, i have to go check up on my friend, Sirius." He smiled again. "I'll see you later." And James was off, running down the hall towards the hospital ward.

Lydia swallowed hard and walketowardwater from the sink into her face and eyes making sure she wasn't dreaming.

James arrived quickly, walking up to Sirius' bed. Sirius was alive and well. "Hey Padfoot." He said, grinning.

Lydia walked calmly from the bathroom. She slumped against a wall and slid down.

A moment later both James and Sirius burst through the door to the nurse, racing through the halls. Running past Lydia, James accidently tripped, landing on his face. Sirius stopped to laugh at him. James stood, brushing himself off. "Ah, stuff it, padfoot," He muttered.

Lydia gasped. "Oh my god, Mr. Potter! I am so sorry." she said offering her apology. Her cheeks were no longer red they were now purple.

James looked over, noticing Lyndia. He raised an eyebrow. "Mr. Potter? Don't think anyone other then professors have called me that, eh Padfoot?"

Lydia looked down at her feet and began shifting her weight from one to the other. "I. . .I'm sorry." she told him.

"Why sorry?" he asked, not understanding her shyness at all.

"Y. . .You said it l. . .like you didn't like me calling you Mr. Potter" Lydia explained.
