"Do not tempt me, Potter. I have invented many spells, curses, jinxes, etc., so be careful of whom you speak. Now, go to bed." he said in a commanding voice-such a voice, that it seemed a command, and the children began to leave for their dormitory.

James gave the man a hatred filled glare. "Yeah, sure you have, old man," He said to the mans face before grabbing Lydia's wrist and walking off. He wasn't going to bed.

"Fool. Vermilious, uno." said Ohfman, as a flame was sent to Potter, scorching his behind.

James yelped, whipping out his wand. But something got through to him that if he had another detention, Lily just might dump him and/or have a fit. And the fact that he was Head Boy...He glared at the man, muttering 'old hag,' and going on his way.

He walked behind Potter, and said:
"Vermilious, duo." making the scorching flames hotter, and more full.
The flames licked Potters' behind.

James not couldn't take this hag. He put the places out, pointing his wand at the man.

"Stupify," He said, causing the man to fall, but it would last only a few seconds. "Well, come on Lydia. You know, I hate to pass up a fight, but I don't think my girlfriend will be to please. Plus I don't have enough pairs of pants to spare." With that the two ran out of sight from the hag.

"Hah, some sport. Vermilious, quatro." said he at last.
Turning and going to Dippet's office.

James looked over at Lydia. "So, still hungry? Come on." He opened a door, and the two entered a roon with a huge painting of fruit. He tickled the pear and it sprang open, revealing the kitchens. Immediatly about 50 house elves swarmed around the two, offering an assortment of breads, candy, snacks, tea, and more. Jame excepted a pumpkin pastry, biting into it.

Lydia smiled. "Thanks." she told the house elfs. She picked up a small roll and began eating. She liked house elfs.

James looked at the clock. 11:23 it read. "Oh crap, I bet Evan's is gonna kill me..." He said absentmindedly. Not only for picking another fight, but for getting back so late.

"So, feeling better?" He asked.

Lydia shrugged. "Yeah, I guess." she said. "I guess we should get back before one of the professors catch us."

"Yeah, and before Evan's kills me." He said. They headed out. "So, what house are you in?" James asked, messing up his hair.

Lydia sighed. "WHat house do you think I'm in?"

"Um...Gryffindor? Ravenclaw?" He guessed.

"You were right the first time." Lydia said. "But I'm not surprised you didn't know. No one knows I exist."

James gulped. Here we go again. "No, sorry, I'm just usually really busy..." But he knew if he said more, this would only get worse.

Lily had retired to bed. "Got away from him for once," muttered Evans. She turned over in her sleep once more.`

The two burst into the common room. James yawned, a fake one. "Well, I'm off to bed. See ya, Lydia." He said, walking up the stairs.

Lily tossed and turned all night before the sun rose. "Drat," she muttered under her breath as she saw James in the common room. "Double drat." He would have that homework session with her today.

James lit up as he saw Lily. "Evans! So nice to see you. Did I mention you look absolutly beautiful today! Nothing's going on!" He grinned. "Erm...I mean..." Crap.
