I am as sure as any reasonable person can be, and I think my experience- and the experiences of others I have been with- count for a lot more than your opinion. Also your distinction of 'personality; and ';sexuality; strikes me as unusual., Why do you think sexuality is a closed peice of personality that environment cannot affect? There are plenty of examples in psychology of this sort of thing.

But that is just a pointless argument that gets no-one anywhere. If you want to simply discount what I say then feel free. But I think my opinion stands and counts, and having had experience in that area, better than yours.

What are you basing that on?
All kinds of studies that show that sort of thing. But like I say, that's not proof of anything.
For example, kids in more tolerant families are more likely to turn out gay. Gay couples are, of course, normally tolerant by definition.
So there is no direct proven link there; it would nee d a lot of work to get one.

I respect people's opinion when it comes to religion cause it's a personal thing
but I do not believe for one second in it
I just wrote that stone-thingie to show that TF's preciousssss bible also says that if you have or never made any sins THAN you can judge, TF clearly said he is no perfect christian, therefor sinned and can not judge anyone if you follow his thought of christianity

Wow. This really took off. I'm in and out of piano lessons, so I can't really keep up. 🙁 My point earlier about whether the debate was really over gay marriage or homosexuality itself seems to be obvious. If everyone agreed that gay is ok, there wouldn't be an issue over the whole marriage thing. I think a lot of people believe it's a choice. Therefore it becomes a moral issue. Taking drugs is a choice, but it's illegal. That is how some people look at it. As an immoral choice. Some people don't believe it's a choice, there it's discrimination if you don't allow same-sex marriage. Then there are those like Ush, who believe it's a choice, but still should be allowed as just that. My sis-in-law is gay, and it's a very interesting discussion to say the least. Now, in her case, she had very bad dealings with men growing up, and if I had been in her place, I would probably not be married to a guy. I don't know. I think I'm just rambling now, so I'll shut up. 🙂

How man boys who are brought up by their father to be strong and very manly like turn out to be gay...even though their socalisation has been very different and non gay related.
