What came first, the chicken or the egg?

that means ...Bird A, Breeds with Bird B, Creating Bird C (chicken)

obviously the egg, since creatures that were alive way before chickens were laying eggs

Other, because before either could exist there would have had to have been life, air, atmosphere etc. For any of them to come first!

I should also point out that birds evolved from dinosaurs [ that layed eggs]. they were a small group of tiny dinosaurs who survived the impact of the comet due to their location over time they evolved into the birds that we see around us.

It is most likely to be the egg due to the fact that species that layed eggs were perhaps some of the earliest species of our planet.

There was a rock and it turned into an egg and that became a chicken. So the rock was first. But if I had to choose, I would doubt between the chicken and the rooster.
