sentry is a great character, im glad they have him in this comic, he has such a great dilemma
i cant wait for more of new avengers, sentry has me hyped, and having cap, spidey, ironman, and wolvie into the mix makes it real interesting, and i thought adding luke cage and spiderwoman was great also.....i wonder who the mystery character is
i thought it was sentry.
i assume he'll be taking over from thor as the super heavyweight of the team.
I dont know much about his past or previous appearences, but it seems as though the writers have more or less a clean slate with this character to make him into whatever they want. They would never have been able to have as much artistic liscence with thor's character, as he was too well established.
i dont know if it'll still be used now, but in the past, sentry was addicted to the serum which gave him is light powers, and out of his addiction a character called the void appeared, the void is basically an enemy, and the exact opposite of sentry, it uses darkness as a weapon
his powers are basically like supermans, except that serum gives him an edge being able to control light
Batman can take down Supes because of a couple fundamental weaknesses Superman has. Captain America doesn't have those weaknesses, and on a deserted cityscape, with no tactical advantages to either one, I believe Cap would eventually take it.
As far as comics go; I can't wait for the Nightwing year one arc coming up in his comic. He and Bab's first get together and much more, sounds great.
the best comic of this month.... hrmmm... of course, ignoring Identity Crisis, simply becuase it is quite possibly the best comic arc ever, I'm going to go with Transformers Generation One #10. It was simply outstanding. Some of everyone's favorite bots and cons make their appearances, plenty of action, great art, and some awesome hints at things to come for the series!
dunno if this is late a month or not but...
Fantastic 4 #520. Johnny being Galatcus' herald is awesome. It makes me wish I would have picked up numbers 516-519..but all in due time.
Identity Crisis really doesn't catch my attention all that much. I don't like not knowing who the bad guy is right now. I understand that's the point, but putting the blame on a fat man named the Boomerang is just non-sense.
I like Bullseye Greatest Hits...it's a good read right now.
And just because it's possibly the most entertaining comic series I've ever read in my life...I'll say Cable/Deadpool.
