It sounds like he was surprised. I'm glad DC is using her character and didn't just forget her. 🙂

yeah the new wolverine was especially good.

Ultimate Secret

I didnt actually believe you about the Jean Loring thing. I only just got a copy of the new superman 216 today. They're kind of getting desperate now, having jean loring as the opposite number to the spectre.

nah... i wouldnt do such a thing...

Just discovered this forum/thread. I have some good new ideas of what to look for now.

Personal favorites...
1. Any "Authority" comic from Wildstorm. The kick ass. Particularly enjoyed Volume 2 (the ones that have come out at least)...the artwork gets all funky and bloated midway through Volume 1.
2. Tick comics: harder to come by than most...hilarious and sweet.
3. "Earth X/Universe X/Paradise X" series from Marvel. Alex Ross was the artist for them (he did 'Kingdom Come' too)...good comic artist.
4. Just started to read "Sandman" comics from DC...main characters are abstract entities. Artwork isn't great but the story is top-notch and unique.

Just read GL:Rebirth #6, and i have to say...

WOW!!!

As usual, the art is top quality.

The best line in it imo was when hal said he didnt know how to quit.

Hal knocks out batman in a single punch

GL Rebirth #6 was awesome.

Great taste mate but I think they mean contempory, And if you like Sandman, read Alan Moore stuff his the Godking of comics trust me, nobody writes better, Miracleman was widescreen two decades before the authority.

Not like that's a hard accomplishment.

Well his being the most successful writer of the TV age, with stories as diverse as the shawshank redemption and the stand i'd say it was very hard!

So behing Parallax is back in the battery does that mean the yellow weakness is back?

I dont think it is. I think the Guardians have something in store for Parralax.
