RupertGrint.net confirmed that Rupert received the Rupert Birthday Tribute Project 2004 GIFT! Here are --> photos!

And watch out for TotallyHarryPotter's report on their Mexican Spongebob-themed gift to Rupert.

And its not over yet!

Why Rupert ??

Rupert embodies the very spirit beyond why I, along with many others, are so devoted-- most famous people either inherited a lot of money that they use towards an acting career or they are born into a family where one or more relatives were famous, but Rupert was a regular kid, playing video games and sports.

He had a dream of being the character in the book and he made that dream come true.

He is a great inspiration to others and sends a message that you too can do anything you want as long as you set your mind to it.

Avvie overload again! 😛

Well, helloooo guys.. I'm back! 😛

And I've got another Rupert Fans-story! 😄 I remember, I stopped at Fan-story #9... so here's Fan-story #10 which was posted by Emma at Snitchseeker just this August 23, 2004... its veeeeery veeeeery long, so I've edited it only for the part about Rupert.. here goes--

Rupert Fan-story #10: My report from the UK Prisoner of Azkaban Premiere

As some of you know, I went and stood outside at the UK PoA Premeire back in May of this year. It's taken me forever and a day but I've finally managed to finish my report, which, I warn you, is very long! Pictures are included!

The European Premiere – Leicester Square, London (30/05/04)

(Please note the report spreads over two posts - it would not fit on one!)

London, May 30th in the year 2004 and the second I exited the coach terminal, I knew exactly where to go. Having been to London a few times previous I was familiar with certain surroundings, but London being a huge place, I’d imagine it’s impossible for anyone to ever learn their way around there completely.

The screams were phenomenal. From around five blocks away from where the actual cinema was...

Emma Watson’s appearance was that of lightening. She can’t be criticized for giving autographs, she gave them at lightening speed but one couldn’t help but feel, having watched the fans, that they felt a bit cheated as she didn’t really talk to them or greet them as much as the others did; the priority seemed to be signing. I suppose a lot of people were happy with that and in her defense her minder kept bugging her, trying to drag her away. At one point she did scowl but after deliberation I’ve decided that was probably aimed at the people trying to take her away. Still, her fans could see her and I think she has to learn that you can’t let fans see you like that; it did upset a few kids around me. It shocked me because I never actually thought she could be like that. Whoever it was aimed at, she more than redeemed herself when, after being taken in, came out a second time with Rupert and Dan. She then also came out a third time, hand in hand with David Heyman, giving out tickets for people to go inside and watch the film with the stars.....

Daniel Radcliffe, bless his soul, was probably the keenest of the lot. Very eager, very smiley and very happy, he signed loads, talked loads and seemed very sociable. But, one fans just had to spoil it. Someone, probably a hysterical fan girl, thought it would be amusing to open one of the security gates. Thus Daniel was instantly pounced on and dragged away by security, which, needless to say, spoilt it for the other fans who were behaving themselves. I couldn’t count how many girls broke out into tears at that point, but there were a lot of them. And, ever the gracious celebrity, Dan fought back and genuinely looked as if he didn’t want to be taken away. And, what guy would? A girl tried to smash down a barrier for him; of course he’d love that! I honestly think he felt awful after that and, when Emma came back out with Rupert, he came out too and tried to make his way around again but he was not allowed back over to where the barrier had broken open. This was a pity for a lot of fans. Seeing him up close was strange, I can understand why he goes on about wanting to grow because he is extremely short compared to the likes of Rupert.

...Previous to her (JK Rowling) appearance, Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, Alan Rickman and the Phelps twins had graced us with their presence... Rupert was an angel, a true gentleman and I believe, from what I saw, he is set to be the one who lasts. He laughed, took pictures with fans, looked at banners, signed borders, hugged girls and just looked to be enjoying every moment of it. He seemed to want to make it worth the fans while, being out there in the scorching heat. He did come past me but, as luck wasn’t with me, I couldn’t quite reach him to get an autograph. Neither did my friend Daisy who was, by this time, hysterical and desperate to meet him. He too, like the others, eventually got taken away.

My boyfriend, who is to credit for the amazing pictures, was a little to the right of me. He’d managed to sneak forward and got a space by one of the barriers...

Steve Kloves, the script writer, didn’t even show his face outside. I don’t know whether he turned up inside, but he definitely wasn’t outside at all. A good thing for him because he would have had abuse hurled at him, a lot of fans like me were seething over the whole “Hermione getting Ron’s lines” issue... The only people who really stayed out for long periods of time were Dan, Emma, Rupert, the Twins, Alan and Tom. Of course, this is from what I could see so more might have spent time outside for long periods, I just might not have seen it.

The whole event eventually cumulated with the entire cast going inside and a lot of the crowds dispersed... as I don’t live in London, I had to leave quite sharpish, although I didn’t want to, as my coach to home left at eight o’clock...

All in all, I had fun...

And that's not the end of it... Emma was able to get a set report, which can easily be classified as another Rupert fan-story...

Mad-Eye, McGonagall, Dumbledore & a monkey! - another set report with pictures (by Emma)

Another Exclusive report at HP4U by reader Chris

Some rock-solid facts to bring you up to date with ALL that's happening on the various film sets of the Goblet of Fire.

The Dragon scene IS being shot over the coming 2 weeks up in Bonny Scotland as reported by Wizard News.

Unfortunately filming has finished now in Oxford apart from TOMORROW (Saturday 28th August), just head down to the bookstore at the bottom end of town! -- who will be there, I'm afraid I dont know, but its worth a try. There is also a strong rumour the 2nd unit crew will be back in a month or so for last minute extra's, there is no more main unit filming to be done.

There are 2 more new location shoots planned for 2004, we will update HERE in plenty time for everyone to get along to them if you can.

Oxford, 27th August 2004

Despite the fact there was reportedly Fleet street 'paparazzi hanging out of windows, employing a helicopter(?), just to try and get a glimpse of Mad-Eye Moody, we were able to be there for the lunchtime trip of all the cast relatively well. We took plenty of pictures and will post them once our main camera is back with us as its being used elsewhere before we could download the images, in the meantime, here are a few shots of the location.

There wasn't anytime to get autographs today as everyone were bustled in and out of the car's and buses in a flash that were waiting for them. Rupert as always, is the perfect gent, always finding time to say hello, no-matter what the hurry.

What we know of the Oxford shoot is amazing! The town was used for the filming of The Philosophers Stone, the courtyard of the New College indeed is where Hedwig flew in many of his scenes.

But for 2004, Filming has been underway for...........ready for it! -- Malfoy's clash with Moody and his transformation into the Ferret, the Defence against the Darks arts class scenes have also just been filmed, we don't know if the spider scene was shot as we were unable to see any filming but what we did see, in Ron Weasley's own words was 'bloody brilliant'.

There is the most amazing gramophone being used on set, absolutely huge, where this is situated on set we don't know yet. There is a monkey here for filming, why(?), again, we couldn't find out, but remember you saw it here first!

Most of the main cast were here, Dame Maggie Smith, all the main cast children, Michael Gambon, of course Brendan Gleeson and many others.

We can confirm also that the stadium HAS already been built on set at Leavesden for the Tri-Wizard tournament, most is in the hanger, some is still on the runway, its huge!

As everything we've seen and heard from Chris is true (yup! Sorry folks, unfortunately there's lots we've had to keep out on reporting), we know what he says here is correct. And we thank him for his reporting to us. 😉 Cheers Chris!
