The serum put him just beyond human perfection I believe. The best human could train their entire life and be just below Steve in every physical way. Also, I don't think Cap's 'dreamer' mentality at all effects his ability to fight. I think Cap is a soldier first and a dreamer second. It boils down to the fact that Cap is a soldier and Bats is a detective and Cap is just an inch more phsically beyond Batman(and any other regular human). In an even no-prep situation with no tricky scenery, Cap takes 8/10. Bats, however, is much more creative than Steve who has a straight forward mentality. Bats could cook somehting up if he had time to plan for him.

captain america is more than just top physiacl condition. your saying he's an athlete with no body fat percentage.
he can curl over 500 pounds and bench up to 2,000 pounds. he has way more stamina than batman, and take alot more damage. he has been known for taking blows from the hulk. he is way more agile and has more years in fighting experiance. the cap takes this

I'm pretty sure IM was not trying to kill Cap. Batmans suit gives him greater durability than Cap has. And in this fight Batman has his suit.

First of all thats striking power. Strength there's a difference Cap has held up tons of rubble too even pull a supply truck through the desert. Plus he also has wrestled and held back superhumans like Maddog and the Superhuman Cap from the 50's.
Cap also has good striking power feats as well that are better then Batmans imo.
