Cosigned, plus it's been done.

...The search on KMC sometimes doesn't work. 😎
Perhaps I can help.
What I've discovered recently is that you have to first be in the "forum neighborhood," so to speak, for the search function to work.
In other words, as an example, you can't be on the forum home page, to search for a Versus thread. You need to be in the Comic Book Versus Forum first for such a search to be successful.
Would it really be that easy? I mean, assuming Tony doesn't pull some "shutting down Spidey's suit" technique, would it really be that easy for Tony?
It just seems, to me at least, that Spidey definitely has some advantages over Tony that could prove useful. By no means, however, and I saying that Spidey would win, but I feel that it wouldn't be nearly as much of a curbstomp as some are saying. Especially with the new suit and recent physical upgrades.

Tony helped Peter design the new suit, so Tony should know its strengths and weaknesses and be able to take advantage of that knowledge. Iron Man was also recently upgraded with the Extremis, so they have both become more powerful.
Spider-Man is still faster and a lot tougher to hit. And even without his upgrades, he was strong enough to totally destroy - with his bare hands - the Iron Man from the future.
Yeah yeah I know, not THE Tony Stark, but he was basically the same kind of Iron Man.
With his upgrades, I'd Say Spider-Man 5, 6 -10. Without 1 or 2.

With Iron Man's new Extremis uprgrade he could just have a bunch of his suits attack Spider-Man at once. I'd say Iron-Man wins at least 8 out of 10 times against Spidey.
Powers
"Formerly none, but after being critically injured during a battle with the Extremis-enhanced Mallen, Stark injected his nervous system with a modified techno-organic virus to save his own life. This fused Stark's armor to his body, allowing him to store the inner layers of the Iron Man armor in the hollows of his bones as well as control it through direct brain impulses. He is also able to remotely connect to external communications systems such as satellites, cellular phones, and computers throughout the world. Because the armor's operating system is now directly connected to Stark's nervous system, its response time has been significantly improved. The Extremis armor grants him superspeed reactions and a healing factor able to regrow whole organs. He was able to stop Crimson Dynamo's heart and restart it."-From Iron Man's profile on Marvel.com

To my knowledge, isn't that considered outside help to have a bunch of his old suits attacking Spider-Man? Are you saying that he can't do it on his own, but must utilize dozens of other Iron Man suits to defeat him?
I know all about his Extremis upgrade. I also know all about Spidey's new physical upgrades as well as his new costume.
And honestly? I can see this fight going both ways. IM, even with his new upgrades, would still have a hell of a time even touching Spider-Man (he's avoided faster). Spidey, on the other hand, lacks the firepower to put IM down from the get-go. But enough wear-and-tear with his super strength can do the job as well.
So, I'm going to keep contemplating this. But until then, I feel that this could definitely go either way for both parties. So, 5/10 for both right now.

I think Iron Man could do it on his own, but it would be a lot more difficult since previously mentioned Spider-Man is very quick and agile. Doesn't IM also have that new zero gravity or level attack that is supposed to be extremly powerful?

I'm not sure I'm familiar with the attack you're referring to? Can you explain it a bit further please?
