No talk on illegal downloads, please

I was only telling him where you can find the film. I merely mentioned it very briefly. I didn't encourage or support anything of the sort.

good to know that!
but don't even mention it "very briefly", ok?

Yeah I know I just don't like being be made to look like some type of P2P supporter or spammer.

Anyway moving on.....Who thinks Julian Mcmahon will play a good Dr. Doom?

me, hes shown he can be good and bad from his stints in charmed and nip tuck, he can be as evil as he likes and stil somehow likeable, i think he'll do a great job

Well I don't know if he will be using the Dr. Doom accent or not but if he does I don't think he can pull it off like the classic villain we all know and love.

really? why?

Maybe its because I haven't seen him try an accent like his before also plus Dr. Doom has that really threatening deep voice unlike him.

granted, but ive never seen mcmahon put on an accent, maybe he'll do it well *crosses fingers*

Yeah me too. How about Michael Chicklis's Ben Grimm voice?

i havent heard him as ben grimm, but i think hes got a good range as an actor, to be honest hes the one actor im really most optimistic about

I agree. How about Jessica Alba as Sue Storm?

you have to ask? i wouldnt kick her out of bed, but shes not nearly good enough to be sue storm.

Micheal Chicklis is an exceptional actor, but an oscar performance (which is highly unlikely) is not going to distract from the stupidity of that heinous outfit.

Before we worry about who will be a good actor or not, I think it has to do more with the writers and directors how this movie will turn out. I feel comic book movies are about visuals, ambiance and story telling, put a professional actor into the write setting like that and you are bound to get a half decent performance. That being said, I can't help but feel that this movie is just being thrown together.

in the comic, the hulk and thing have battled, famously, many times...

i just cannot see the movie version of the thing ever battling it out with the movie version of the hulk.

that is just silly.

Yeah the movie Thing is about five feet ten inches and the movie Hulk is about 12 feet tall.

So who do you guys think has the best costume from the Fantastic Four movie so far?

Thing!! 😄

Although the 1994 looks better (from the few pictures that I have see) I think they both look sorta lame. The new thing doesn't have the brows, the nose, the mouth, nuthin'!

I would have thought that Thing would have been the perfect CGI candidate, you don't have to worry about making skin look real cause it's rock, and even his movements can be done in a plodding way.

I wonder if any of the folks who works on these films checks these boards out? Just a thought.

The fact that the 1994 and 2004 costumes are even equal to eachother or that the 1994 costume is better is a shame considering the new FF film has about 100 million more dollars to work with. The older version had an animatronic face and was taller than Chicklis. I think a CGI Thing or fully animatronic Thing would be alot better in my oppinion.

The people who work on these films don't bother checking any type of message boards so the only way your oppinion can be heard is if you talk to them directly such as in a Q&A Session in a comic book convention but be

it is just sad and it makes me want to cry! they NEEEED to do a cgi thing!
nothing else will do... maaaaaaaaaaaaaayeby an animitronic jim henson gigantic robot thing. but cgi is the way to go. i hope they dont slack on the rest of thier powers too...they should have just totally invested thier money in cgi! thier best bet is to just totally postpone the movie..., scratch out anything they already shot with that stupid rubber dummy suit version of 'thing', hire a team of 3d artists and programmers and sit round the clock and develope the whole movie around the cgi version of thing as the central character... oh god why do they have to screw this up! there will never be another ff movie again if this is a bomb. but these pics are horrible! looks like we are gonna have two very BAD ff flicks. hopefull they will follow tradition now and remake the ffin another ten years. (but let us hope that we live in a more intelligent society where the filmakers will give the ff JUSTICE! for once in our lives...)

Actually, upon further inspection, the new Thing looks like he should be called "Turd Man", or "The Human Turd".

His battle cry......."MORE FIBRE!!!!!!!"
