Signature Help/Tutorials

Google didn't help much. Most sites give PhotoShop tutorials...

Can anyone tell me how to remove a background from a picture or something?

Cut it out using the eraser or lasso tool.

Does anybody know how to blend two images together using PSP X (like in my sig), or point out any good tutorials for it?

ive got a very quick way...
works only if the background is very different from the picture ('or something'😉

use the magic selection thingy...(my ps is dutch)
and put it on 'add to selection' and a 'tolerance' around 20 (maybe more)...
click a few times on the background and it should work.
oh..before deleting you can edit the selection to make it bigger or smaller... or sumthing else

That only works well if the image has a simple background and is different in color from the part you want to keep, though.
