For some reason, I can only edit the Shape Dynamics of my Smudge Tool Brush. This really takes away alot of things I could do with it, can anyone help me with that?!

PS7 doesn't let you edit a lot of the stuff on the smudge tool, can't scatter-smudge or anything like that.

Yeah I have 6.0 and smudge is basicly useless. Cant do much with brushes either. 😬

Well, no, you can still do plenty with the smudge tool. Just can't really do much extra stuff with it (it's main purpose IS to smooth things out, after all).

ive always wished gimps smudge was as extensive as photoshops
even tho it was just about the only tool i used on basically all of my first sigs

Well, the thing with the smudge tool is that scatter smudge and all that are secondary functions and thus new. It's main purpose is for smoothing things out - it's usually used most with blending in digital painting. Or creating a faked painting effect.
