We are not powerless. The members dictate everything in a forum. Without the members there wouldn't be a forum. This thread in itself shows we have power in the forums. We suggest things and the staff take them in to consideration.

Yes we are powerless, they can ignore our suggestions without explanation. And yes we can leave, but more then enough members would join to take our place. And once we left no one would remember us very long after we left. A suggestion thread gives us no power, all they are looking for is ideas, in the end they have the last word and ultimate say and that's the way it should be and has to be.

In that sense you are correct Spoony. However, that is why there are moderators and staff to prevent members from developing a mob mentality and pick on a particular member.

We will help as best as we can. But we will not permit members to incite hatred or discrimination agaisn't another member. Unless of course we're dealing with trolls.

Anyway.... I'd really like to push for Profile comments.

Sort of like a thread in your profile... At the bottom. You know, where your ban comes up? I think that would be pretty wicked.

What would be the point of those? You can already post any comments you like in your profile.

Why would we want that? And it could cause fights since people could go in and bash in someones profile. It could cause allot more fights.

Also... to answer that: Option to Delete posts, or not. It would still make people abide by forum rules.

You can put me on ignore as well. The fact is, allot of people would go onto other peoples profiles and post bashing comments. And the mods would be stuck sorting it out. People have the option of creating social threads where people can do what your preposing with less trouble.

And how would it make people abide by rules?

People STILL have to follow forum rules, whether or not they are in a profile or not.

If people bash, they get warned.

I doubt people would bash a lot too 😬

😂 yeah they would, look at all the fighting that happens on KMC, you think people would honestly pass up the oppertunity to bash people in their profiles. And while yes they could be banned for doing it, it would still create a huge problem for the mods.

Basically the idea has many cons and no practical pros. Also redundantas people can post in social threads and they can always ask someone to profile something. Your idea would take away peoples control over their profiles and many would not like that.

That was really stupid... There are so many more pro's than con's. I don't think you understand this concept fully...Or you're baiting me.

I am far from baiting, it's called a debate. State the positives then? And you might want to counter my arguements with logic instead of insults.

Its a public forum, I can talk to whomever I wish, you have an ignore option if you wish not to see what I am typing. What I did is no where near as bad as you seem to make it out to be nor do I care about it any longer as i have moved on and it's an interesting request considering the mods had to force you out of my threads for trolling.

In any case I have been perfectly polite to you. Simply dissagreing with your idea is not baiting.

I simply see many flaws in the idea. It's their profiles. People need to have control over the content of their profiles. There is no need to allow others to post in them as it can become bashing and cause a mess that the mods will have to sort out later. If people want someone elses comments in their profiles they can copy and paste them. This idea is unessecary.

You're missing the point.

People would be given the OPPORTUNITY to choose which posts get accepted. They'd be at the bottom for constructive criticisms and good posts. Why would someone bash someone over a profile? No one would...It's illogical. Just because you find it unnecessary, doesn't mean it is. Most people would enjoy the project, I'm sure... A lot of us spend hours on our profile, and just posting in for a 1/10 rating of it in a thread DOESN'T TELL MUCH. Now let others express their thoughts on it.

Lot's of people bash, it's rampant on ANY online forum, people would do it so when anyone looks at their profiles they would see the bashing comments.

And no one says in the Profile Rating thread that you can't leave additional comments. And if someone like them then they have the option of copying and pasting those comments onto their profile, It's very easy. That is why this is unessecary since there is already a way to do what your suggesting without all the time, effort and hassle. I highly doubt many people would want criticisms posted in thier profiles.

I've already posted ways around dealing with this. Look back and read carefully.
