I have a suggestion.

Limit how much stuff people can put in their profiles.

Because it is incredibly annoying when someone has so much junk in their profile that it takes ages to load with an internet connection that usually loads pages in under five seconds...

Well...maybe if it's just images you limit, but if you can still allow unlimited smilies (for quotes).

It's things like when people have 10 youtube videos and a billion gifs and stuff like that. I think that's what need to be limited - videos and images. Because even if you're not playing the youtube videos, they still will lag your connection if there's too many of them on one page; and images are usually slow-loading because most people have no concept of compressing images, or have a ton of huge animations.

It doesn't lag, but I personally think it's just damn huge ermm

Seriously, it's not a problem when there's a couple videos or images. It's when it's like I said and someone has like 10 videos and 50 images, half of which are huge animated GIFs, that it gets problematic and annoying.

Or just add a second random ass page for that stuff, so I don't have to wait for all that to load just too see someone's favorite quotes, or their biography.

Either that, or the second page would make them go crazy, since they obviously can't handle one.

I like a multiple page profile idea actually...1 page for the basics, then the 2nd page we can go buck wild on.

Only a handful of people would use the second page, not really worth it.

Have you seen how many people have a ton of stuff in their profiles now? That number is growing daily too.

I see some, but it's really a lot of crap.

Who the **** actually looks at peoples profiles... No one... The average member couldn't give the slightest about other member's favourite films, music and quotes... Let alone some of the godforsaken crap you see in most profiles. I say limit the profiles. Just because of the fact that they are pointless and only really sad people browse them anyway.

Just becasue you don't look at them, doesn't mean others don't.

Alot of people view profiles alot.

If they're pointless, why have you spent time on yours? All those links, quotes and userbars must've taken quite some time to sort out.

I browse profiles, I find them interesting and it's nice to see people put effort into them. Doesn't make me sad, excuse you 🙂
