Umm maybe make it so I don't have to wait for the remainder of the day to make new threads? I'm not a spammer I swear! I made like a few threads, one in the Harry Potter fanfic section, and two in the harry potter section. I go to make a fourth and it says this:
You have attempted to create a number of threads in a short space of time. As a safety guard to prevent spammers, you will not be allowed to create new threads for the remainder of today. If you feel this is in error, please contact the Administrator.
All I'm doing is try to have the Harry Potter section active again *tears*

You may not be a spammer, but there ARE those who will abuse the system by posting 100's of threads a day advertising sites or just posting random bullshit.
We didn't use to have this thread limit, and things got out of hand. The limit makes things 100x better.

Not to mention that you don't need to create new threads just to stimulate a section of the board. Posting in threads that already exist work just as well, Esaul! 🙂
I personally think that any user who registered, say, a year or more ago and never posted once should be deleted from the site. Not because of space, because apparently we have plenty, but because that will free up their user names for name changes or incoming members.
I'm aware of that mods' position that it forces you to be more creative, but I don't see why we should burden active members for the sake of people who never even bothered to post once
And there's my spiel.

It is also unfair to the members that signend up to view attachments or converse with members through Private Messages, etc. without ever choosing to post on the site.
