i get it though if its like a robot posting about air jordan shoes but common sense should be used in such situations between the two you know

its not fair if lil bitchiness can have a name that bypasses the censor and i can't have something like it in my sig. and RJ had a sig recently that was just a hand giving the finger? did he get a warning at least? i got a three day ban for the four Asterisks like '****'. maybe ill change it when lil b changes her name.

And Lil's name, actually, does not bypass any censors, otherwise it wouldn't show up. Your signature does. And if you don't remove or change it, you'll be temporarily banned and your signature deleted.

It obviously does - that's the entire point. If you typed in what is in your signature normally, it would not show up. Purposely going around the censors is a bannable offense. There's no argument or debate here. It needs to be changed or removed immediately, else it'll be done for you.

And why can't you just leave out the profanity entirely?

It is using the bold tags to get around the censor that is a bannable offense, as that's actively trying to bypass the censors.

As much as I hate to agree with someone who was banned, he does bring up a good point (One at least). If swearing is allowed in a name, however not in a text, it makes the moderators look hypocritical when scolding someone for bypassing sensors.

~Wålshy~, in my earnest opinion, needs to learn tact. He does, again, in my opinion, drive a good point, but I hardly see LB's name as an infringement. Sound to me like he was just a-hatin'.

The key word here, people, is CONTEXT.

Also, this is not because I'm sticking up for a fellow moderator, rather, I see nothing that LB has done wrong.

That is patently not the point.

If a word is actively censored and someone actively takes steps to bypass this, then they are in the wrong, period, and risks being banned. It's as simple as that.

bitchiness is not swear word. It means to be bitchy. There is no case here.

And if a moderator has asked you to stop trolling and you still feel strongly about it, bring the case to me!

So, if I change my name to, "****ingmywife," then it is therefore allowed because all I'm saying is that I like to have sex with my wife? Right? There's no difference between that and Bitchiness. I still see *****, and I still see ****.

I wouldn't be looking to pass the censors, therefore I wouldn't be banned? Because Bitchiness obviously wasn't looking to bypass it.

If mods get that kind of discretion to pick and choose rules at their liking, then the system is kind of hypocritical, is it not?

I can't say I actually care because I will never try to use it, and never have tried to bypass censors, I am merely stating a point.
