While I agree with your point ultimately, there are differences between discussing artistic merits of certain media and discussing possible fights between their fictional characters.
I personally just don't like the fact that people would rather discuss Spiderman vs Goofy than something that is actually current. Makes me disappointed in the people. I also don't like the fact that we need the VS forums. Due to them being KMC's withered beating heart.

The only point I'm trying to make is that if we were to get rid of the VS forums then the people in them would be forced to post elsewhere (or leave the forums). This would increase traffic in other areas bringing new life to them.
Obviously I know this will never happen, I'm not even the one who suggested their removal in the first place.

I was simply expanding on a suggestion made. Throwing in my 2 cents. If you can't handle the fact that I think the VS Forums are a waste of space (which very existence are to the detriment of these forums) then that is your own problem I'm afraid.

what kind of honest basis do you have for saying something like that?
plenty of people only come to KMC for the VS or comic forums, and if they weren't there, the people would just go to one of the other ones (Herochat, CBR etc).
Claiming that VS forums draw traffic away from other forums is a ludicrous statement imo. If people wanted to post on both, they would.
Sorry but I'm in the vs. forums are asinine camp and I have been since their inception here. This has got to be THE single biggest waste of time I've ever seen. They instigate a bunch of bickering, trolling, flaming etc. They serve no purpose whatsoever in my opinion.
And before the Nuul guy gets going, save your breath I don't go in them, you know why, because as a former high school teacher it pains me to see the utter crap thats posted in those sections.
But to each his own. If the vs. peeps want to waste their time on that drivel so be it. 😂
