Does anyone else find that this game has one of the worst and most vague ending that ever was in a game?
The game is awesome though but what really pissed me off is not being able to play anymore after completing the main quest unlike oblivion.
Oh and they need to release the construction set that made oblivion for PC so great because of all the awesome mods.
Yeah, the ending was kinda of weak, but I dont know how good a ending can be when there are so many choices that affects the ending.
I look at Mass Effect for example. Overall, one of my favorite endings, but in the grand scheme of things, you really dont have alot of choices that affect the ending that much while Fallout 3 you do.
I do think they could of had a much better ending, but I dont know if it will be as good as some lesser choices RPG's.

Unless we can continue to play after the "ending" and have a large modding community like oblivion, then this game will be number one for me.

I will have to agree. Fallout 3 was cool, I just wish I could continue after I beat the story.
Some good news, according to the fallout wiki, a DLC will be released for both xbox and pc this march 2009 that would extend the main storyline allowing you to play after the main quest has been finished.

Apparently there's on for straight after Christmas, and also there's apparently going to be 3 DLC's quest/story mode wise, the first one to be released is an operation that takes you against the Enclave for the final battle.

I was hoping the fight would move to California to re-build the nation. I don't mind Alaska...but I'm wondering if there is going to be more fighting than role-playing in that expansion?

It'll be the same as the main game...so it'll probibly have the same amount of action as in every other quest of the main game. With the same amount of RPG elements as well.
