However I did say that the batman was an evolving process, becasue I think they are working there way towards the TBAS and the others.

It's true that it sometimes take a number of episodes or even an entire season before some TV shows with its production crews finally get their sea legs.

The scary thing is that for Batman TAS it took maybe three to five episodes (I thought they started hitting the mark perfectly starting with Heart of Ice).

I agree..it usually takes until season 2 for a character to get rolling...on a happy note...I do like how Alfred is getting a more active role in the new Batman cartoon..but it's not as good as Batman:TAS..but maybe by season 2 or 3 it might could give the 90's batman toon a run for it's money....we'll have to wait and see though.

yeah...I don't think The Batman is a bad show...the episode where he fought Bane and Mr. Freeze were pretty good...I'm not sure what to make of the Joker.....and can't wait to see how the Scarecrow...if he shows up...turns out.

If this particular Batman show came out before Batman TAS (in '92) I think it would have been considered an excellent Batman show. But Batman TAS has set some very high standards. Even the live films are measured by it.

But then most of us saw what happened to Star Trek: the Next Generation. People hated that first season and thought it could never measure up to the 1960's original. Well, STNG went beyond the original once it got going in it's second season.

So one never knows.

the Batman could become the standard for cartoon....in 2 years or more.

THE Batman has bad art and Cart Design. I DONT think they can be the standard, I like Megas XP WAY better than THE Batman, and in a few years, I think Megas will be more rember.

Well one thing is for sure, The Batman has already lost in the animation and art aspect of it.

I look more like the first two season of Static Shock...it looks more light hearted than the 90's toon

not true...old woman between the age of 45 and 82 and young men between the ages of 7 and 10 watch too.

now that is funny, 2 viwers lol.

By luck we have 3 viewers for season 3 lol.

I think if it had 2 or 3 viwers, it would have been cancle by now. I relly hope this show goes under.

Every single shot I have seen from this show looks hideous.

It isn't "stylised", it's just pretentious crap. It's absolutely stupid. Since when does "style" = "making-all-characters-look-like-they-are-in-a-hall-of-mirrors"?

Every character looks rediculous, and goofy, to boot. I can't believe The Riddler looks so lame. The Joker still looks crap. Why do none of the characters even resemble humans?

Sure, there's style, and trying to carve a new standard, but this is absolute garbage. Batgirl looks absolutely awful.

Jokers hair makes him look like Kit Fisto from Star Wars.

Kit Fisto, Marylin Manson and Chihuaha Woman. Dear God.

I couldn't agree more, you pretty much placed all of my thoughts and views on the show into your post.

you know, I see these 24 pages of insults on THIS one show. And Do I think it earn 24 pages of insults?? Did It?? Well it sure has lol.

This is the type of show that would even put a 3rd grade art work to shame.
