I believe in evolution, but as far as the mutation aspect...I'm not sure. There are varying schools of thought regarding this. First and foremost, to my knowledge, there has never been a beneficial mutation. They are always debilitating and lead to severe health problems and death.

ive heard of a benificial mutatuion...theres a guy in california whos a carrier of the AID's virus but completly immune to it.

there are alots of theories about these. but mutation is a very important factor in evolution, such as natural selection, etc etc.
you are thinking only in that mutations that are responsible for diceases, for example trough radiation, etc.

mutation is a very interesting subject....i learned in genetics class last semester that everycell in ur body has about 10,000 mutations in it at any given time....however most of these r corrected....i wouldnt hate on creationism, a lot of what we learned about molecualr biology in the last ten years doesnt support evolution....do u know how ur immune system works? basically u were born with antibodies for virtually any disease that could ever evolve (some 4 billion different antibody compund protiens!)...this development and many others in molecular biology dont actually support the theory of evolution because they didnt evolve in tandem with our macrobiology....its really hard to explain....oh and about the Hulk, yea i think banner was born a mutant...i think the fantastic four too....thats what the whole x-men vs FF story was about, Reed Richards knowing all along what the first trip into space and the cosmic rays would do to his friends

That was the basis of FF wasn't it? The rays only brought out what was already there or something.

Very peculiar indeed.

why is it? you know that Darwin admitted that the human eye was so complex that it couldn't have been created by the Big Bang or Primordial Ooze--which in turn made him admit that his theory was wrong and before he died he stated that Creation was right and his theory of evolution wasn't

Where did you hear that!? Damn people and their religions.

its a true fact

OK, don't tell me it is a true fact, and then not provide the source. Where did you hear it?

from my parents' friend--hes a news anchor/reporter and he did a story on it once

mmhhmm. Excuse me if I don't believe you or your parent's friend. Or Creation. Or basically any religion on the planet.

"hes a news anchor/reporter and he did a story on it once"

...and we all know how the news and news reporters are the hallmark of truth.

to me, Creation sounds a little far fetched than it seems. The theory of Evolution, well, just makes more sense then just appearing out of the blue from one all mighty creater.

Yeah. I never really took God for a lazy guy. Just threw a bunch of people on here.

"Have you ever notice that people who believe in creationism look really unevolved? Eyebrow ridges, big furry hands and feet. 'I believe God created me in one day'. Yeah pal it looks like he rushed it."
-Bill Hicks.

I found this fairly amusing.

Quick AC Dictionary reference:

Fairly=Extremely.

When comes all the way down to it, none of us really know anything about anything, not until we all die, then MAYBE, just MAYBE we'll know something is out there.

Captain Canuck is the strongest mutant(but not the best)

ok, well you can keep on thinking that you evolved from a large, dirty, smelly, hairy, stupid animal--and ill keep thinking my way 😉

Apes aren't stupid by any means. We're hairy, we still grow body hair and without washing we'd still smell. Humans are more stupid than Apes are, in most cases.

A response that was not unexpected. I see people like you everyday(I attend a Lutheran School) and they refuse to accept science and facts. I don't know why, because science is in plain sight and proven. Where's the Creator? I don't see him down here.
