Strongest Mutants (Not just X-Men)

Started by Duke5 pages

To understand the theory of evolution, you have to listen to the people who are explaining it to you very closely. I, or We preferably, didn't come from any Baboon or any Gorilla so to speak, we didn't come from anything period. Always, there has been man, just not modern man. Through millions of years man gradually changed into us, what we are today. If you go back far enough on the family tree, using the theory of evolution, say like a couple of 10 million years, every single one of us could have shared the same primative parents as did our gorilla cousins and our chimpanzee (however you spell it) cousins.

He's up there silly. Sitting on the clouds, chilling out.

I do think this has had enough. If we want to continue this we should do so elsewhere. I wouldn't like one of my threads turned wrong. Nor would anyone else I guess. Although Manowar did create this thread.

do you see wind? can you see smells? tastes? sounds? NO you can only sense their affects!

at least i have something to believe in and dont have to wonder if im going to burn in hell for eternity ater i die

Basically, I have no religion. I believe in nothing but to live and let live because that's our only choice, the universe is too big for us to really worry about and the after-life is too mysterious to ponder around about, so.

No, i can't see them, but i can smell smells, feel wind, and hear sounds. I don't see, hear, feel, taste, or smell god or whatever it is you worship. Pretty weak argument most Christians use.

I don't worry if I'm going to burn in hell. I honestly don't give a shit if I do. Needing something to believe in just implies that you are weak and insecure, and need something to lean on(metaphorically). I stand alone, and I like it that way.

I stand alone as well, I have no belief, not because it could be weak, but because it's futile, why believe in something you have no idea that it is real or not? It just seems so hopeless sometimes, or atleast that's how I look at it.

if you want to be religious the nso be it. if not then curs god if you want. who cares. this is ccomic forum. topic is strongest mutants, not Aethists vs. Christians.

Darwin´s theory was not interily correct, that´s why trough the years cientists, are completing it.

People can beleive what they want. Sure go ahead commit the rest of your life on a religion based on a story book handed down thousands of generations. Re-written so many times, converted into so many languages and back to english that its just a bunch of jibberish. Hey i mean it is fairly obvious that a higher power created the Universe i mean theres no proof, its based on a story and is printed into peoples minds, GOD EXISTS, hey thats all the proof i need...... Was that sarcasim?
Evoloution, ha. A scientific "theory" wich can be proven and makes a lot more sense than just well appearing out of air.... What? sarcasim? 😉

Beleive what u want, religion, whatever. The same can be said about me and anyone else who beleives in evoloution and not some mumbo jumbo. Just stay away from me with ur religious beleifs, i never want anything to do with it. And as far as burning in hell Manowar, ha if i beleived in hell i'd beleive in heaven in turn making me beleive in god wich i dont!! I dont?? realy? lol naww.

woo i feel better now.Back to the strongest mutants...

i think this veered way off topic and everyone should keep their religious views to themselves

hey guys look,Captain Obvious....lets get you a sidekick.

It wasn't to do with the film, the Hulk thingum, although that was the basis of the film.

Science provides no more concrete answers than religion in terms of where it all started.

And this thread is beyond wrecked.

Stop. Now.

Darwin rushed his theories in order to publish his work before another scientist doing a similar project could publish his. Thus, he ended up "fudging" some stuff.

Personally, I believe in Creationism BUT I am strong believe in microevolution.

Now that I have stated my opinion, I'm going to stop and not comment on this anymore.

i totally agree with you, Fece. i myself believe in Creation, but i also believe in microevolution

why is it? you know that Darwin admitted that the human eye was so complex that it couldn't have been created by the Big Bang or Primordial Ooze--which in turn made him admit that his theory was wrong and before he died he stated that Creation was right and his theory of evolution wasn't

Sorry for reanimating this dead thread with an off-topic reply, but well, I couldn’t resist it 😄.

Darwin died in 1882 (I looked it up). The first Big Bang theory dates from the nineteen twenties (I didn’t look this up cuz I know this). How can Darwin talk about a concept that only two generations after his death was mentioned for the first time ?

Not only Darwin was a revolutionary biologist, it seems he was also a great clairvoyant 😉. Maybe Darwin was the strongest mutant after all...

i like apocalypse, colossus, wolverine, gambit, pheonix, magneto, and mister sinister

I saw this and I had to reply. We're not so much born with all those antibodies, as we're born with the B-cells to eventually make them, and even then the VDJ-segment of DNA can go through random rearrangement to further increase the affinity of antibodies to any given antigen. I can't remember what the exact number of potential diversity of antibodies, will have to look it up. But, if there's anything that supports evolution in this situation, its the gamma-delta T-cells which link the adaptive immune system to the archaic innate immune system.
