It's stupid to say this cause you guys seem to be facing catastrophic disasters...but it does seem like the kind of awesome mode/condition to be sitting in a theater watching this movie. Sucks that even if you wanted too - theaters would still be shut down.

I just went through a load of reviews about the movie, and I can paste a fiew, but I'm not gonna cuz they got spoilers in it. Nedless to say is that the movie got a 5.9 out of 10 review on imdb.com. Not very good, and I read some really good reviews from actual fans, and those too were very bad. Basically they all say that James Cameron should off done it.
They say that with this movie they have desecrated what is holy for us, so I'm really down with the spirits about this one. All those comments that we had earlier, well basically we were all right and wrong. They all say that the new director is not a storyteller but a Fox corporate kissass.
All the storytelling that we were up for just went through the window. Ppl said that the movie was too short and that the characters r uninteresting and just plain. What bothered me the most is that the Predators r not acting like the ones in the other movies. They r not as sneeky and intelligent as we r expecting them to be. Oh well I just hope they get someone better for the sequel (director).

How come the Predator's armor's alloy was burned by Alien blood, but the alloy that they made their spears, hand-claws, and throwing statrs out of weren't burned by Alien blood? The main Predator killed 4 Aliens with the same spear, his hand-claws, and killed 1 Alien and sliced the mother Alien with his throwing star and every time pulled his weapons out of their body *undamaged* while the Alien's blood was MELTING THROUGH THE FLOOR! Why dont they make their armor out of the same alloy?

And WHY THE HELL WAS THAT GUY USING A DIGITAL CAMERA ON AN ARCTIC ISLAND! There is NO WAY those batteries would last in that kind of temperature!!

And where the fuk did that penguin come from when the guy was exploring the abandoned building?? Penguins live on the water where there is fish! Not on an icy wasteland that was 1000 miles from the nearest island!

sorry to ruin some of you guys' fun. i enjoyed the movie, but there were a lot of flaws. i could pick apart the movie some more, but i'll spare you.

but then again, like everyone else, i went to see the movie for some Alien/Predator ass kicking 😉

i actually liked it. it was kinda -off- and i thought it was kinda short. but none the less i liked it. to me though...... wait, i cant tell ya. you have to watch it yurself.

I kinda liked it too. Although, the movie should've been much longer to leave open time for much more needed storylines and plots, and they should've been more consistent with the whole "blood melting weapons thing" (although one pred's hand-claws did melt, that was just about it, from what I remember at the moment). But they did at least make the movie fit in with the rest of the movies somewhat. And I can forgive the pred's not being as slick and good as they should've been, since they were suppose to be youngsters after all. But regardless, it could've of been plenty better of course, and they didn't actually spend that much time putting the movie together either if I remember right. Didn't they only take a little less than a year or so to make this movie?

yeah, but the director had it all ready to be filmed almost 10 years ago, but didnt have the funding so he put it on the back burner. once he got the funding, he just tied up the loose ends that he'd left 10 years previous.

the movie sucked terribly. Though I'm biased cuz im a pred fan. But i think they should get a director that actually thinks decently of the preds, and doesn't want to make them the aliens' bitches...

dude the first two died, but they made the main Pred to be a juggernaut. he took out like 15 aliens in total! including the mother Alien! but he died.

but yeah i know what youre talking about. the director himself said he was a bigger fan of the Alien movies.

(no im not racist or sexist, it just seems to be really "trendy" that in any movie with a high body count and/or very few survivors, you can count on the person making it out a live to be the girl... if there are more than one, its the "ethnically diverse" one...)

For real that pissed me off so bad whenever she killed an alien i mean what the hell not even one of predators were able to do that. Once again for some awful reason the movie was ruined by too much human involvment.

Ok, your posts convinced me that the movie is total BS. After reading the last 4 posts I'm really pissed off about this. I knew that they was gonna ruin it with the humans. I read also that the last Predator became real close to some human, since they joined forces, right? Well how can they make some momento scenes with the 2, since the Predator whiped out his friends just a few scenes before? Don't get me wrong I read all of this and drawn my own conclusions. I can't believe that the movie sux so much ballz. U know what I'm glad that the movie industry is pissed off about illegal copies of their movies on the internet. Screw u u corporate bastards! May u have a slow and painful descent from the market. I hope all your investors abandon u!!! May your yearly balance equal to the temperature of the north pole!!!
All they do is complaint, and they can't even produce a good fan based film. I'm really pissed cuz they had the chance to make something great, and now it's gonna get only worse! I hope someone punches the daylights out of the director. I hope Mat Damon will go on a killin spree, like in Dogma. Get to the main conference room and start blasting off some heads.

I mean it wasnt horrible its just that the last 30 min sucked pretty bad but some of the fight seens were tight.

They really should have just used the AVP books. It would have been such a sweet movie if they did.

But it wouldnt have been original, and wouldnt have been very possible without the use of special effects. Why are so many of you pssed about the fact that the pred fought alongside of the girl. That scene of the movie was taken directly from the original aliens versus predator story. also i see many of you gripe about the aliens killing off the predator so quickly, well again, this is just a fact of the aliens ability. the aliens are the predators finest prey. the preadotrs travel the universe hunting prey and the aliens are the fiercest and most challenging, why wouldnt they be able to kill them off so quickly? In the stories anytime a pred goes one on one with an alien, the alien takes the victory. besides the movie would have been very one sided if the predators were aloud to live longer.
