Best opening sequence to a movie ?

Saving Private Ryan - even though i dislike the film as a whole, th eopening sequences featuring the beach landings are incredible. Today i think there is only Spielberg who could have achieved that.

Scream - the Drew Barrymore opening is brilliant ( even if it is a rip off of an earlier horror film ) Scary, funny..it's the best part of all the Scream films.

I must say I favored all three LOTR movie openings. They all told an important part of the story that would have not fit anywhere else in the films.

Spiderman 2.....I love to look at the artwork.

spiderman 2.. you must be paid to honestly say this.. van helsing did have use an interesting start (then it all went down hill).. Bond movies all have good intros

Star Wars: A New Hope. Who can forget seeing the Tantive IV screaming across the screen followed by the Devastator.. still following... still following.. still following.. how big is this ship anyways.. it's huge (so said my 7 year old mind in 1977).

There are quite a lot. I think I'll go with Dead or Alive this time. Great opening! Strange ending.
