Invisible Women vs. Thor: god of thunder

Started by Jimmy-Chan22 pages

I can't beleive people are seriously arguing for Sue to win. Normally, Thor wins 7-8/10 as they're portrayed in the comics. With "bloodlust", he just tosses his hammer before she can do anything, or fries her. Hell, if she manages to get a bubble inside his head, he could easily drain the energy with Mjolnor as he's done to Surfer's energies.

Besides, people touting this strategy are forgetting that Thor contols the elements -- he could turn off the electricity in her brain with a thought. That would take her out much faster than her brain bubble trick could do to him. In fact, given that his soul is greater than a mortal's, it would make sense that the same is true of his organs.

How can Thor shrink her? 😕
Would it take an instant? show scans too.
It can take an instant for Blood Lust Sue to put a bubble in Thor.
Mjolnir has the ability to srink down thor's opponets i personally dont have any scans fof that and i dont know how long it would take but i do know Mjolnir is capable of it

As with so many match-ups, I see this as coming down to power levels: who can generate the greater level of energy, wattage-wise. So what, eg, if Sue materializes a force bubble in his brain. Obviously, the atomic forces holding Thor together (inside as well as outside) are great enough for him to withstand a nuclear blast. So unless Sue's force field registers in the thousands or millions of megawatts (essentially, enough energy to power all of human civilization for several hundred years), it doesn't matter what she does to him; the wattage of his atomic binding forces exceeds the wattage of her fields. At best, she gains a few seconds before he clobbers her in any number of ways.

intersting way of looking at it although i think it would be more about genetic makup that power thor's cells r soo dense they could withstand far more pressure than our own

Yes, Thor can shrink people down.

The hammer can also fly at speeds faster than light (in other words, faster than Sue can react).

Convinced now?

not saying thor has it in the bag but neither person should be too quickly judged

thor ftw

Hell no!
Thor can't shrink people. He only did it here because it was in hyperion's power.

He just shrunk Hyperion. What are you talking about?

The lamest arguments seem to be that Thor can win because he will hit Sue before she can react and put a shield up. Please stop using scientific arguments, They don't work in comics. Sue has (over a million times) got her shield up against speed of light attacks before. No comic ever will write Sue vs. Thor and Sue couldn't get her shield up. Sue has got it before on Thor anyways.

Yet the scan gives the reason why he was only able to do it. Please read it over. If you don't see it then I will tell you.

And Thor has put enough pressure on it to make her pass put. Your point?

Of course this fight will appear much closer in a comic. Aquaman vs Superman will look much closer in a comic than it should appear. The fact is, Thor can shield himself just as well as Sue can, plus all sorts of other things he can do to her.

I would even go as far as saying that if Sue isn't bloodlust then she probably can lose. This because she will not be trying to kill Thor but KO him with invisible battering rams and such. And Thor will break down that shield (for she can't hold it up too long against constant powerful beating). But bloodlust Sue owns him all the way.

The power is still the same. Used on Sue, it could probably cause her fall victim to the radiation that gave her her powers.

Your only argument is that she'd form a bubble inside his head, despite the fact that he's quicker, can form shields as well, and do all sorts of other things to her. 😕

Thor can't shield himself. Show me scans please.
Opps! nevermind. A shield will do him no good against a bubble put inside him. As she can place bubbles anywhere in space.

I already posted scans of him using a variety of shields in the Thor vs Doomsday thread.

What's to stop Thor from simply, oh I dunno, blast her with cosmic energy before she can put bubbles any where? Drain the radiation out of her even? Or just throw his hammer at her?

this is getting nowhere

Not in his head but anywhere in his body (even his chest or eyes). He's not doing anything worth while in less than instantaneously. Since this is the time it will take Sue to put a bubble in him.

Lastly she can win by sending invisible spears, rams, cutting disks at Thor. Thor can't see them. Show scans of him doing a force field like sue. Otherwise it is false.

Show me please even though that would do no good (since she can place bubbles anywhere in space) and to answer your questions:

1. Her shield and the fact she has done it a billion times against other light speed attacks

2. Her shield again

3. Her shield even again
