The first attack on the world trade center was a truck filled with explosives that got into the underground parking garage. Terrorists constantly ram into buildings with truck bombs and car bombs.... one well placed explosvie can bring any building down. Ugly but necessary for high level targets.
Apparently you missed part of what I said...the majority of the streets in downtown Chicago (with the exception of a handful) are too narrow to even drive a truck down. Not to mention how utterly crowded downtown is; I wouldn't even try driving a regular car downtown.

it doesn't have to be a truck if you read the rest of mine 😛 it only takes like 2 lbs of C-4 to bring a concrete 6 inch thick wall down.... can you imagine a 100 lb car bomb?
Would you prefer them to take the walls down and them level the building?

My latest factual finding regarding this Administration:
During the time when the Coalition Provisional Authority completely controlled Iraq, you could find numerous young Americans wandering around the Baghdad "Green Zone" wearing typical preppie-esque garb. These people were put in charge of dozens of major administrative tasks in the Provisional Government (These being Americans from ages 18-24 mostly). Instead of having trustworthy natives share their input and experience, these kids were allowed to run some of the largest aspects of the Government, including all main budgetary and press policies. You'd think that the military would have more control over this, but... well... I guess not this time.
Here's the kicker: Nearly all of these pseudo-preppies were student volunteers who gained their positions by applying at openly Protestant-Christian websites (and they needed few proven qualifications). This was a policy that was openly approved by the Bush administration, and was not kept a secret.
So there it is. That's the ideology of this administration. Religious nepotism in the extreme, in one of the most important situations imaginable. It not only partially shows how Iraq has turned out so mismanaged, but it is also evidence of the Bush administrations terrible judgment from the very beginning.
The management of Iraq was so incompetently carried out, that they would spend countless millions of dollars on importing cement, when they had modern cement facilites that could provide a superior product at a fraction of the price (Iraq was a major exporter of cement). All that was needed was a new (and relatively cheap) factory generator to begin production. The people who would've done the labor were all considered trustworthy, but they were Iraqis and not Americans... so... I guess they were considered inferior by these Protestant youths.
Just another reason why Bush/Cheney shouldn't be in charge of policy-making.

I had a good laugh of your signature... so true. As I said in the John Kerry thread the same goes here.
Bush: Declared a Crusade against the Islamic Middle East, and the populus has called him a murderer and a war monger.Kerry: Flip-flops like a pancake houses' morning rush, has recieved three citations from a war he opposed - brags about it when he gets the chance, has not served his full time as a Senator. Looks like a Herman Monster.
I personally do not support neither Kerry, Bush or Ralph Nader himself. However, in my best interest who do I want to win the next US Federal Election? George W. Bush.
America. Would you want a President who flip-flops like no ones buisness, or would you want a President with the eager personality of George W. Bush?
