grow up lil.or are you the only person who can sit here and make personal insults at others because you're a mod.
Everything I say has to be pointed out as "ridiculous" or "laughable" or "a joke"
Stop being a child and either put up a counter arguement or just don't post at all. I, much like others I'm sure, am sick of you saying crap like "that makes me laugh" without even putting up a 1/2 way decent arguement.
Turn arround and read your posts before you make a comment!
It does make me laugh! Your comments not only in this thread but in many others are laughable. If I had time and will id go look for them, but i dont.
You implied Tex and I are ignorant, but that doesnt count does it? Please.

WD, i only argue for an american presence.
not an increase of troops and CERTAINLY not
a preemptive strike, hell no.you could just kiss all of korea and japan goodbye if that happened.
I agree with you on that view.
My previous post with the "reasons for pulling out the troops" was merely speculation.
I have no way of knowing why Bush pulled the troops any more than the next person, but from the information I've read (mostly last year) I kinda figured up those 4 reasons.
But i DO think there needs to be atleast some American presence in the region. Even if it is a small one.

Can you just image the nukes all those nations would launch in self-defense? Heavens sake an Attack on N. Korea is just a terrible Military tactic! There must be other ways to solve the problem.
trouble is, the youth in south korea seem to be turning anti-american.
the danger in that is they seem to be willing to accept control by north korea.
they really have no idea what they are inviting. older folks in south korea know the real deal, but the kids are the future.
i think the REAL solution is revolution. its sloppy, lots of people die, but its contained. however, opinions of the youth in SK seem be leaning toward a unification of korea, under a communist dictator...bad news indeed.

The best thing ever would be if everyone just gave up the WMD...but that isnt gonna happen anytime...soon
No it won't...even though it's OBVIOUSLY the best solution. Why do we even need WMDs to begin with? Just stating an intent to use one could set off WWIII. Countries only have them to instill fear in others, which I think is ridiculous.

no....you implied that the majority of the people in this thread...and in these boards are unintelligent because they don't share the same view as yourself. Which is very narrow minded.
i did not imply that either of you were ignorant.
I asked if "those with a higher education" are you and Tex. Then I stated that almost everything you two have quoted was from either an mass email or a spoof web page.
As I said before.....Grow up. Stop putting others down in order to make yourself feel better about your opinions and views.

Yeah, exactly 👇 Who has the most is feared the most...or something. Sheesh, we are gonna blow ourselfs up one day...its almost inevitable.

i dont believe for one second korea will listen to the un on the disarmament thing, as for the youth in s.korea i think its more 50/50 pvs. they need to come up with a non violent way of forcing n.korea to disarm, whether one can be found i dont know
there is no non-violent way to overthrow a dictator.
and i hope you are correct about 50/50.
but their opinions mean jacks*** anyway,
there has to be an overthrow of communism in NKorea.
i think only it's people can fix this problem.

North Korea has pretty much said that they'd rather go to war than to give up their right to be armed.
Change of leadership is needed in North Korea in order for that country to turn around.
That's the one good fall back the US has, even with re-elections... change is constant. Sometimes you'll have bad leaders, sometimes you'll have good ones...but change is inevitable.

No kidding...ever see the flash movie "End of the World?" It's about what'll happen if someone decides to set off a WMD and ends up with Earth more or less getting destroyed.
We really have NO use for WMDs except for the fear tactic. And the fear tactic is going to end up with us all blowing ourselves up. Not a very good thing that is, now is it? But of course most people don't see it that way...
And also, I'm amused at the hypocrisy of the US when it comes to WMDs...we were the first country to develop them, we are the only country to have used one, and we have FAR more than any other country...yet our government is going around telling other countries to disarm.

pvs there are a few countries where they could do without communism, ive talked to a korean friend and she says they're more worried about the taiwan problem than n.korea, cos china or america might do something stupid.
ugh.....china
a.k.a. the elephant in the living room.
