What edge does DD have? Dick has the edge in gear, about equal in fighting ability, and slightly below in stats. However, I don't think DD Is close to Midnighter.
And before anyone says something like Matt having superior stats, I don't believe it's enough to warrant a high majority. Especially since Grayson went up against this dude who can outreact Flash like speedsters.
Defeating Deadshot and dodging most of his rounds.
Now has DD gone up against someone on this level?

Midnighter was not trying to cripple Dick. Despite that, Dick's only two edges came from plot devices that don't apply in this battle.
Nightwing is consistently able to keep up for a bit, great. Maybe his fight with Matt will take a while... but Matt has a career of winning matches of this caliber, Dick has a recent history of holding his own. So, edge to Daredevil.

Midnighter had to use a bit of prep (watching footage and what have you). He was definitely trying to KO Grayson in their fights, but couldn't.
And Grayson has won most of his matches. One against the best street in COMICS and one of the best trained warriors (Grifter). So, yes, he's been winning, too.
Let's not forget about the Talon fights. Grayson has taken down TWO Talons in the Talon war. Saiko (Who was stated to be FASTER than Grayson himself, and who has a healing factor to boot) and William Cobb.

Grayson was out in there for 10 days, without food.
I don't doubt that Dick is a great fighter trained by an even better fighter but DD still has the edge, more years experience, and senses that can rival Spidey and Logan.
This guy explains why perfectly. What i don't get is how Dick who last i checked has no powers and is just human can pimp slap your champion midnighter but when placed against someone with the proportionate strength of a spider the debate can go on for many pages.
