but not too much worse than the things we did to them in return.

I'm not going to say that either side "got what they deserved" I just found it kind of interesting to see the US bark up the wrong tree...

jawdrop do you know the things they did in comparison to us? 😑 We were barking up the right tree .... we did they same thing in Korea only 15+ years earlier 😑

Yes, I'm aware of the attrocities that they did to us, but to downplay some of the things we did to them is foolish only for thinking that we were the lesser of the evils. Both the Vietnamese and the US were both responisble for horrible treatment.

And who's to say we were barking up the right tree. Who exactly gave us the right to decide whether or not Communism was adherently EVIL? We had no business in that country, we should have let them settle their own differences, just like America was able to settle their own differences.

They only way to match a ruthless enemy is to sometimes to resort to similar tactics... we did not burn villages because we wanted to.... we did it because the enemy was using the populace as human sheilds and thier towns as strongholds.... 😬

South Vietnam was being invaded and like Korea we came to stop the Communists.... if you lived during that age and understood what communism truly ment you would understand what the dangeer truely was.

ok back to the subject at hand.

John Kerry earlier today attacked President Bush for his decisions in the war against Iraq. He spoke of $200 billion dollars lost due to the war, and even more important, over 1000 American Soldiers that died during the war.

Now as this dipsh*t sits here bad mouthing our current president. I can only ask one thing.....Did he or did he not vote in favor of the United States using force in order to handle Iraq?

The hypocrite voted FOR the war, but now he does nothing but complain about the cost of the war, and the casualties in the war. John Kerry isn't a leader...he's just a puppet. he'll say whatever it takes in order to get put into that office, and that includes changes his views on his own ideas AFTER THE FACT.

Hind sight is 20/20 Kerry....try sticking to a decision. That's what I want in a manager at work, and that's what I want in my country's president.

I can't vote being an English citizen, however I would rather have John Kerry in office than George Bush. It's the far lesser of two evils in my opinion.

I think there's a big difference between voting to use force and voting to handle the "War" how Bush did. I think the reasoning and stuff for the US deciding Saddam was a threat now when they could have capped him in the Persian-Gulf War/Distraction, is very poor. However, Saddam is out of power so that's a plus. Maybe that's what Kerry was for but against the way it was dealt with.

I can some how see Bush getting re-elected coz people seem that stupid. This is a man who got PUT into office against the choice of the American public and they still believe he has their best intentions at heart.

The crack up of all time was Arnold Schwarzenegger saying how great Bush is. Yeah, someone so blatantly pulled him aside and said "Remember what country gave you a career and made you the highest earning Hollywood actor." Coz you know that if he said anything else, the Bush Admin would have run him into the ground.

Tony Blair sucks but I'm glad we don't have that going on.

against the choice of the American Public?

How exactly did he WIN the election if he wasn't the top candidate for the job.

i don't see how anyone could say that Kerry is the Lesser of two evils seeing as he's never had any power or authority as high as GW Bush.

Kerry isn't capable of running this nation. the only thing I like about the idea of putting Kerry into office, is the different cabinet that will be his advisors.

It's more about the cabinet than it is the president himself anyways.

Do you go to the CEO to see how the functions of a company works? or do you go to the head of each department? A better Administrative Cabinet would help either of these candidates.

bush was one of the worst govs ever check the facts man

please read the full comment. He has never been PRESIDENT John Kerry. So NO he has never held a position as high as GW Bush

give Kerry the decisions Bush had...and he would probably make the same decision. Or he'd make the right decision, then CHANGE his mind, and end up doing the wrong thing anyway.
atleast, that's what his voting history would suggest. 😉

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS

- I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies,
making Texas the most polluted state in the Union. During my tenure,
Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America.
- I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of
billions in borrowed money.
- I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history.
- With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida, and my
father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after
losing by over 500,000 votes.

he was a great gov

- All records of my tenure as governor of Texas are now in my
father's library, sealed and unavailable for public view.
- All records of SEC investigations into my insider trading and my
bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public
view.
- All records or minutes from meetings that I, or my Vice-President,
attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and
unavailable for public review.
