If you are the only child I could understand. But if you have siblings the genes will continue.

And its not like a gay man cant have sex with a woman.

There's been several examples given that children should not be allowed to be adopted by gay couples because the "image" problem is so bad in Middle School/High School that the child will suffer extreme mental trauma.

I feel it would be more detrimental to the childs health if he or she would be allowed to rot in the nations foster homes and orphanages.

Usually theres a reason in nature for most things, I personally thing if people can't reproduce naturally then theres probably a good reason.

All genes arent shared by siblings (unless identical twins)

and obviouly theres nothing stoping a gay man having sex with a women or a lesbian woman having sex with a man, but the basic reason for attraction between men and women, is to reproduce

Not really. Maybe reproduction is wiring that enhances the physical manifestation of the attraction but I don't think girls have nice eyes coz I wanna make em pregnant.

I am talking on the most primative of evolutionary levels here, Darwins theroy of evolution "survial of the fittest" and all.

Exactly reproduction is more an effect of man/woman attractions not a reason for it

I think you'll find its exactly the oposite

i doubt it, like ppl have stated, people dont become attracted to others and think "hey up I could really reproduce with them", reproduction usually has nothing to do with the reason we find ppl attractive

Maybe you should have a word with your Science teacher about the subject when you return to school.

ok first thing i want to say is that sex and reproduction are two very different things... sometimes ppl do get together for sex but not necessarily because they want to have children with that person, think about how many 1 nite stands ppl have... but they dont want to get pregnant from them

DG>no... the reason attraction between men and women occurs is because of reproduction. You don't think it, it only happens subconsciously, but that is the reason. Why do you think guys get boners when they're turned on? 🙄 😉

The purpose of sex is to reproduce. Humans are the only species on earth that have made it something more than nature intended it to be. When two horses get it on, why do you think they're doing it? To reproduce. Same goes for humans. It's only in our own minds that it's just for pleasure. The reason it is pleasurable is to ensure the survival of the species by making sure people enjoy reproducing.

Sorry, but that IS what's going on subconsciously in your mind. The reason you think so and so is good looking is simply because good looking people are generally the ones with the genes you want passed on to your offspring. Again, this is all subconsious... But it's the truth.

we know you don't think that, as I said its the 'basic' (kind of like do it like they do on the discovery channal, carnal instinct).

and i think u need to calm down a bit and quit acting like im some naive little kid that u have to explain the facts of life to, were all just stating what we think and giving our valid arguments, u shud both have a bit more respect for that
