i disagree. i think harry potter is much better, it has better expression, grammer, ideals, content, "Feal" and lessons to teach. disreguarding histroy, it trumps the bible on all acounts except perhaps numbers of publication{keeping fingers crossed when they will eventually overtake the bible in the new world. its the closest thing already}

Well, if it's entertainment you're looking for, then, yes, Harry Potter is the way to go. If you're looking to know the one true God and to be saved, then the Bible takes precedence.

But how can you know the bible is right? All you know is what you have been told, and it could all be wrong.

Its a matter of belief, either you believe or you don´t. And how you believe, whether the bible is full of wise stories or if the things actually happened.

Did Moses part the sea or was it some meaningful story?

lol. dont hate harry potter just cause its popular and known to the masses. things CAN be good and popular at the same time. besides, harry potter does not try to be overly philosophical. its simple, relateable and wonderful to read. id take it over dante or beowulf anyday. it has straightforward yet wonderful lessons and way of presenting them. which is more than i can say for the bible.

no. i believe that people with psychological issues and people who cant handle their problems turn to god. ex: prisoners will usually "find jesus" or convert to islam in jail. why? because they figure it can help them. alot of people beleieve when they cant understand why the world is so bad. they think it must be part of "gods plan". i can understand why people need something to believe in lord xyz. i just cant see why it is a god that rejects their prayers, in religions where you waste your time praying with absolutely no results.

i am gonna say misguided and uneducated. it also depends on how ur brought up. but belief structure is hard to judge. i cant guess someone's actions. i dont know why people turn to religion for every case i hear of, but i can tell you that religion is a lie. way too many contradictions

and yet you fail to realize 1 thing: you cant prove god or prove your faith. ie no proof either way. ill take my chances with not believing
