Well... that would depend on your source. However, the vast majority of scientific communities agree that science supports the Holy Bible. Don't take my word for it.
Entertain the notion yourselves. Reference the Internet, book stores, television programs, and dozens of articles printed in various magazines to emphasize the obvious.
In attempts to keep this message light, I posted a logical analogy to consider. It deals with the possibility of life sprouting from a naturalistic point of view. And this is just one topic to address, there are many others.
At all events, anyone with even a nodding acquaintance with the Rubik cube, will concede the near impossibility of a solution being obtained by a blind person moving the cubic faces at random.
Now, imagine blind persons (equaling the number of cells contributing to life on earth), each with a scrambled Rubik cube, and try to conceive of the chance of them all simultaneously arriving at the solved form.
You then have the chance of arriving by random shuffling at just one of the many biopolymers on which life depends.
The notion that not only biopolymers, but the operating programme of a living cell could be arrived at by chance, in a primordial organic soup here on the Earth, is evidently nonsense of a high order.
Living organisms are irreducibly complex, meaning that a set of parts must be present and functioning properly, in order for the organism to function in the first place.
For humans: the brain, heart, lungs, brain, and stomach to name a few; all these mentioned above must be present in order for the human body to function properly.
Singular cells (also irreducibly complex) need instructions in order to form and create all living matter on Earth. Life could not have birthed by chance. Again, to keep this point simple, an analogy was posted in the beginning of this message.
Something as simple as a typewriter needs and intelligent source to create it. The same applies for living organisms. The Christian Bible is the ONLY holy book containing a creation event. And science supports the claim.

Life does not occur simply by chance but by a combination of chance and the laws of physics.
The probability of a blind person solving a Rubik's cube by chance alone is very slim. But if an element resembling the laws of physics were introduced that regulates the way in which the pieces could be moved, the chances of a blind person solving the puzzle increase exponentially. The task goes from being next to impossible to highly probable.
Furthermore, the concept of irreducible complexity does not take into consideration other evolutionary mechanisms such as frictional change and co-evolution that not only make irreducible complexity possible but expected.

I understand your point and reasoning. But your statement makes the assumption that the laws of physics have always been. It's a bit short sighted. The laws of physics and many other factors are necessary to sustain life, not to create life. Another factor, completely aside from the laws of physics must be present to create life and all it's principles. It's in a totally different ball park.
Endosome, Peroxisome, Free polyribosomes, Cytosol, Lysosome, Golgi apparatus, Mitochondrion, Endoplasmic reticulum (with membrane-bound polyribosomes), Nucleus and the Plasma membrane all make up the parts of an animal cell. And of these parts, all must be functioning in order to guarantee the life and function of the cell itself.
I believe in micro-evolution, but like the laws of physics, they come after the fact... not before it. Evolution does not in any way shape or form bring light to the creation of living organisms. Scientists are unable to determine what stimulated the abundants of life on Earth, and the only reasonable explanation (with what scientists know today) that has gripped the scientific community is that God, or a transcendent causal agent is the missing factor.
If man lacked the knowledge of automobiles, in order for the first automobile to be assembled, instructions on how to do so would have to be present. Sure, given X amount of time, gross errors could be corrected to ensure the proper construction and function of the automobile, but nature does not work that way.
The organism would simply die. The Nucleus of a cell couldn't contact the laws of physics department and request an extension, redo or grace period to ensure its survival. All living matter would cease to exist.
A stadium sized group of blind folded persons (representing singular cells) could not assemble a word or sentence (representing living organisms) in an open field to be read from the sky without intelligence to ensure the correct placement of letters, words and proper sentence structure. Neutralize intelliegence and what's left? Mass confusion.

Great answer. I suppose you studied Science too. Its funny how learning all about different organisms and the human body and how all of the organs and systems within a living organism inter-functions and must sustain such a fine balance to survive, has made me realise what a magnificent God we worship. There are truly none other like Him. The knowledge of this is within all of creation therefor there will be no excuse for the foolishness of mankind. Read Rom1:19-21

The very structure of the universe is defined by the laws of physics. The non-existence of these laws would involve a change in the basic structure of the universe, making it uninhabitable. Without the laws of physics, life cannot exist.
Depends. Historical fiction has fact in it, an sometimes fiction. There are facts in the Bible, mentions of real historical things. The question is how one views them. Does one take it to me God is real as he is mentioned in relation to great flood, real people and so forth? Or is it just a lucky thing such facts were included...
If there is a God trying to communicate with us through the Bible, then it would be foolish not to be interested in the Bible.
For some it’s a catch-22. They want evidence first, yet refuse to look to the Bible, which contains the evidence they need.
If the Bible is really the Word of God, the benefits of understanding it are immense.
God has concealed an increadible wealth of verification within the pages of the Bible-proof that: He exists, He wants to communicate with us, and the Bible is the message system He uses. The proof is so overwhelming that only those absolutely committed to atheism can reject it (providing they know of it).
Unfortunately, most people are unaware of the proof contained in the Bible. Popular media tends to present general opinion incorporating uninformed viewpoints. Realizing the incredible evidence of the Bible requires more depth than popular opinion.
Other books claim divine inspiration, such as the Koran, the Book of Mormon, and parts of the (Hindu) Veda. But none of those books contains predictive prophecy. Experts can be wrong. Psychics are frequently wrong. Prophets are never, never wrong!
Some people might believe that prophecy is interesting, but is not especially important. Nothing could be further from the truth. Prophecy is a key standard the Bible tells us to use to test whether something is truly from God (Deuteronomy 18:19-22).
This standard is obviously critical. It means that words spoken, writings, and information of all types that are claimed to be from God should be judged based on any prophecies made. If a holy book is supposed to be inspired by God, it must be 100-percent accurate regarding all prophecies. This is a massive problem for the holy books of some religions.
No other holy book has the prophetic accuracy of the Bible. Most holy books, including those of the major world religions, are noticeably void of prophecy. Since prophecy is a standard by which to test everthing, one would expect works not from God to avoid prophecy, or to contain errors.
A few holy books of some religions contain limited attempts at prophecy, with results that fall short of God’s perfect standard. A few examples include:
The book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, Doctrines and Covenants
False prophecy: Jesus to be born in Jerusalem (Alma 7:10), which is defined to be a distinctly seperate city (1 Nephi 1:4). History and the Bible confirm Bethlehem as Jesus’ birthplace.
False prophecy: “After the Jews believe Jesus is the Messiah, they will return to the land of Israel” (2 Nephi 10:7). In 1948 the Jews returned to Israel, still rejecting Jesus.
Information claimed to be historical with the Book of Mormon has not been confirmed as true. The Smithsonian Institution flatly rejected the book as historical.
The book of Abraham, supposedly translated by Joseph Smith, was proven fraudulent.
A temple was to be built at a consecrated location in Jackson County, Missouri (“Zion”), “with a generation” of 1832 (Doctrine and Covenants, 84:5,31; September 1832). The city Zion was “never to be moved” out of place (97:19, August 1833, and 101:17-21; December 1833). Over 150 years have passed (several generations) and no temple is there.
Watchtower (Studies in Scripture)
(2:101)-1914 to be the year of the “battle of the great day of Godf Almighty” (Revelation 16:14).
(1914 edition)-”End of the world” date changed to 1915.
(7:62)-Date changed to 1918
(7:542)-Date changed to 1920 Miscellaneous other publications)-Date the end of the world was repeatedly changed to 1925, 1942, 1975, 1980....
Only the Bible commands its readers to test everything (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Only the Bible is 100-percent accurate in hundreds of specific prophecies. The Bible is both open to and available for the testing of prophecy. More than 1,000 prophecies (668 are historical) fill the Bible . These prophecies are about people, places, and events-precise prophecies made centuries in advance of their fulfillment. None have errors.
The miraculous insights in the Bible occuring by chance has a probability of 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. This is not an optical illusion. That’s 1 in 10 with 999 zeros following it. A probability of this magnitude, goes beyond all reason without God’s involvement.
We can chose to accept or reject the message of the Bible. Prophecy helps verify that the Bible is never wrong. We would be foolish to reject it. Interestiing note: the Bible is the only holy book, that entails the creation event, and is supported by scientific communities time and time again.
No work has survived and spread as the gospel has. Something major happened. There were no printing presses, no photcopiers, no quick ways to copy manuscripts. Nevertheless, the Gospel quickly expanded throughout the Roman Empire. Comprehending the scale of this vast explosion of hand-copied documents is only possible by comparing the number of extant New Testament manuscripts with those of other abundant documents.
Of historical works, Pliny the Younger has 7 original manuscripts, Thucydides 8, and Herodotus 8. Gallic Wars-Julius Caeser has 10 original manuscripts. lliad (second most abundant)-Homer has 643 original manuscripts. The New Testament has a whopping 24,970 original manuscripts! Having more surving early manuscripts means having more cross-checks to verify accuracy.
Today’s Bible is verified to a textual accuracy of 99.5 percent. Some biblical copies are old enough to show eyewitnesses’ confirmation (made within 25 years of events). Earliest copies (after autographs) of other manuscripts don’t even begin to compare. IIiad (500 years), Herodotus (1,300 years), Gallic Wars (1,000 years), Thucydides (1,300 years) and Pliny the Younger (750 years.) Why do some doubt biblical acccuracy, yet readily accept other, less reliable history?
Until this century, the earliest Old Testament copies were from about A.D. 1,000 (simular to typical historical works). Skeptics argued textual corruption was possible. Others argued miracles of prophecy, especially concering Jesus; were recorded centuries after Christ and were changed to fit the outcome of history.
Modern Archaeological discoveries soundly refute such claims. Thousands of much earlier documents now verify biblical accuracy.
Perhaps the most important Archaeological find in history is the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947-48. Discovered accidently by a Bedouin shepard searching a cave in the Qumran region near the Dead Sea, the scrolls have been hidden by the Essenes (a Jewish sect similar to the Pharisees and Sadducees) just prior to the fall of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. It took almost 20 years to uncover all the scrolls and bring them together in one location.
The discorvery includes thousands of fragments and some complete scolls found in 11 caves. In total, about 800 scrolls have been identified, which include copies of every book of the Old Testament (except Esther), along with a number of other scrolls relevant to history and to the Essene community. Several scrolls exist in multiple copies. Many of the oldest scrolls (including the remarkably intact scroll of Isaiah) were written more than 200 years before Christ (long before the fulfillment of prophecies they contain about the coming Messiah).
In addition to the Dead Sea Scrolls, some of the most important biblical writings, of the thousands available, are the following:
Rylans Papyrus (A.D. 115 - A.D. 125), Bodmer Papyri (A.D. 150 - A.D. 200), Chester Beatty Papyri (A.D. 100 - A.D. 300), Codex Vaticanus (Early 300s) Codex Sinaiticus (Early 300s), and The Vulgate (A.D. 400).
Knowledge is power! Divorce yourselves from popular trends and opinion. They have zero bearing in the light of facts. Research solid material and stay motivated! There is tough work in studying the Bible. We are not flipping through Maxim magazine here. Be prepared to spend time and money.
For beginners, I would recommend reading "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel. It is an easy read. The book is merely comprised of dozens of interviews with subject matter experts dealing with various issues surrounding Christianity. Lee Strobel was a skeptic out to prove Christianity wrong. In the process, he became a Christian. And his doubts come at full force, and cuts no slack during his interviews. The book will consume you.
God bless....
