2 new comis series will be featuring the venom symbiote.

first is the current Marvel Knights issue for March. the scorpion bonds with the symbiote. oh joy, like I didn't see that in a fanfic like 4 years ago. 😛

the 2nd and more important of the 2 is venom making a re-appearance in Spidergirl this month. Fury dumps the sym onto Normy Osborn. loks like an interesting story arc, but to tell the truth I'm more interested in the plot outcome and story arc effect. Normy could be impaled by a goblin glider for all I care.

Read both of those. Can't wait for the next issues. I was thinking of scanning the Spider-girl images of "Goblin-Venom". 😛

But isn't Normie going to turn evil again without the symbiote? He was submerged in the gpblin chemicals for a very long time and then he sets off her spider-sense... How much of his behavior here is the alien... and how much of it is Normie?

no clue. only time will tell. although I wonder, do they really have to portay the sym in that series so evily?

If she is then she belongs to a very rare breed of people, hehe. Almost always folks that are a fan of one hate the other. (Meaning if you like Venom, you hate Carnage, and vice versa.)

Carnage is cool but of the two I like Venom better. I like Carnage more than I used to after getting my hands on the Maximum Carnage book. I bought it because it also starred some of my favorite characters Spidey, Venom, and Black Cat and that alone would have done it for me.
But Carnage has so many great one-liners in there. And he's so wickedly evil! 😈

(I could have gone without the many useless other superhero cameos though )
