How you been, darlin'? Long time no sexually harrass, huh?
__How've I been? Well, I've been looking everywhere for a big hunk of man-flesh like you. Rowr.
__It hasn't left much time for posting. Heh. I'm going to college; first I have to take placement tests to find out how dull I've become in years of internet exposure (VERY, I'm sure). I'm trying to brush up on mathematics.
__Other than that, I'm much the same.
__Say... Finish Symbiote Halocaust and I'll convert. 😉
__I'm going to PM you- BRACE yourself!
Howdy dere, boys! (Robo and Fox)
The art is cool. The story leaves much to be desired. The third issue has a "cliffhanger ending" which is hardly a cliffhanger considering how many times Venom and Carnage survived that very situation. I thought the character conflict was interesting though the characters themselves are a bit wooden. Pat (the host) has a moral code on par w/ Peter Parker. He's a cop, but he never killed anyone before while he was a normal human. Toxin (the alien) is a prodigy that quickly has learned much about human culture and history but has personality quirks and moral vacuum reminscent of Cletus Kassidy.
He's had Spidey as a mentor, but I'd kinda like to see His gramdpa (Venom), or his aunt (Scream) come on the scene and give him guidance from a symbiote perspective. Teach him proper care and feeding at least.

I shall use this time to say that add the tag "[/sarcasm]" is to be used for prevention of harming a being emotionally. As well that I will be in Hawai'i for the next week, if anyone would need me for some reason, that I am unavailable from 8-19 July.
Now, I shall leave every person here a question. A question to, hopefully, bring us back to topic for at least a small while. Would the X-Men's Rogue gain or loose character if she were bonded to a Symbiote. Any of them, whether it's Venom, Carnage, Toxin, Hybrid, the Life Foundation Symbiotes(any of the 5), another Carnage offspring, or Toxin's first? I bring this up just for some random chance that it would work to get at least one page worth of discussion.
I actually wrote quite a bit about this Koto's site a few months ago. Orange wrote a question about it, and I typed a fairly lengthy entry about my musings on a union between the two--maybe I should revisit and reacquaint myself with that. It certainly is food for thought....
Also, allow me to pre-apologize for double-posting, as I've been away for a bit and all that...
Hmm...kinds surprised by the lack of opinions, input and feedback about that Rogue question.
Gen117--I can dig your adulation of Ultimate Venom--and am probably one of the few here who appreciate him--the fresh stories are kind of nice after the initial indignation at the violation of the marvel universe wears off...your suggestions for Venom in a Spidey movie are no worse than some of ideas hatched up by the geniuses who will rape, pillage, plunder and otherwise manipulate a perfectly good story to put something on-screen as quickly as possible.
However, no matter HOW powerful the villain (or anti-hero), and no matter how many years or DECADES they engage our webby hero in battle, they will always be convincingly eradicated before that proverbial curtain falls...
Next Venom Girl--liked the Stan Lee toothbrush comment--a year ago my oldest son wanted to stop brushing his teeth so they would look like Venom's. I told him that Eddie had great teeth and to get his little arse into the bathroom and brush.
Nataku--I haven't even been here and you hate me too?! Wow. I didn't even have to be present to irk you...but I still love it when you talk dirty like that. Is that wrong?

Hmmm... In Venom vs. Carnage, Kassidy is talking to his other and refers to it as "the bus driver." But in the cartoon, Spidey mentions that "the symbiote bonded to Kassidy's insane mind so completely that he refers to himself as 'I' instead of 'we'." (Hardly 'cannonical', but anyway...)
It could also be a combo of his control and the symbiote's control of his mind
