I don't believe I told you (everyone), that I'm in Iraq, did I? Well not to scare any of you but I'm not fighting, I'm about 200 miles away from combat. I didn't believe it could get hotter than Phoenix anywhere, well I was wrong. I am here as support for the aircrews. I've been here since Holloween. Fairly interesting place, can't wait to go home though. That's why I've been gone for quite some time. I'll work on what I can art wise, although it will be very slow. I can only use this computer with internet once a week so be gentle with posts, I have been overwelmed enough already, I'm still catching up.

I love dragonflys, and I think the poem is very interesting..hmmm.
Some of the imagery seems negative, though the overall tone is celebratory- so is that touch of pathos intentional? Do you mean to imply that you feel some pity for the dragonfly's inability to percieve its own beauty, and the world's beauty?

No; I realized this and that's part of what I'm going to work on 🙂.
