the falling started after TPM
the fear in him is only the path that leads him to the dark side, Yoda didn't say he already walked it
fear leads to anger ... he killed the tuskens in anger
anger leads to hate ... he hates them as he tells Padme
hate leads to suffering ... he suffers his fate and let others suffer
where is it in TPM that he shows anger?

nope, GL says a few times on the dvd that the movie is besides some stuff also about showing how sweet and innocent Anakin is
so he did not fall the moment he left his mother
I'm not refuting what George says....I'm simply stating a fact. Anakin Skywalker began to fear for the first time when he left his mother on Tatooine. I didn't say that he became evil at that point. I said he "began" his fall at that moment. Even Yoda picked up on it when they were questioning him in TPM.
EDIT: Didn't see that PVS had already answered for me...cheers.

When Mace says that he will not be trained. Anakin looks at him with a most evil look...much resentment.
But besides anger, we are looking for fear. What does this kid not have to fear? He's just left his mother and his only supporter in everything has just been offed by a Sith lord...everyone else thinks he's bad news.
And they're right in the long run.
JP... they cut it out cause it would let people to believe Anakin is already full of hate and agression
CF; you see it as anger, but I see it as disappointment. Disappointed that someone he never saw before judges he is unfit to be a jedi while the one jedi he trusts says he can be.
if you say you begin your fall, it means you're already on the path down there... Anakin was not. He did had fear but that doesn't mean he's already going dark. It's weater you go from fear to anger. And in TPM he didn't got to anger, he got that in TPM.
If you compare it to traveling: it's not cause you're in the airport of New York that you'll automaticly take a plane to London.
