Theists - especially Christians - regularly challenge us with arguments and ideas which supposedly demonstrate that their god definitely exists. But prior to that, there is an even more important issue to address: is a god really important in our lives? [/B]
We, as mere human beings in the great unknown cosmos, should not trouble ourselves too much with such an absolute question of whether God exists or not, because we can never really know this. What is more important is too find happiness, peace and enlightenment (devoid of suffering) in our own daily lives as well as those of others.
Another problem of the question of God, is what God really is. The mere concept of what God is, is relative and subjective anyway. So not even all believers in God believe in the same idea of God.
Any human beings troubling themselves with such absolute existential questions, are waisting valuable time on something that can never be answered, and something that does not really have a bearing on the value of one's day to day life.
Moreover, why do atheists spend most of their time on the question of God, while they don't believe in him?
My advice is this: Rather spend more time on improving the quality and value of people's lives, than waisting time on something as senseless and unaffecting as pondering divinity. Be practical and wise in your quests - concentrate on the immediate, conditional living-truths, and not on the absolute and meaningless.
