Well, what I meant is god will exist whether we believe or not......I believe there is something.....and It's so huge, that it could care less about our petty belief systems.....Though it would probably like us to know it better.

I don't think God needs.

God does not depend on, nor is God afected by our beliefs/disbeliefs.

if there would be a god I think wonderer 😉 and Shakya are right

^debbiejo said the same thing too you know. 🙄

I think the problem is that "I am" thingy. It scares a lot of people away. Why it doesn't bother me? Well, we will not go there. 😛

Well Jesus said I am this and I am that.....and it was taken out of context most the time....so I AM doing it too. 😇

Jesus, wasn't he an insurgent leader?

NO...he's my neighbor who smokes pot!

I' m rather getting tired of putting you on the spot. Keep it on topic.

Does God Matter?

I assume you mean; does God matter to me? Or do you mean to atheists?

To me, God is everything, and this is true even if I never think about it. It is like saying; does gravity matter, well yes, but I don’t have to think about it for it to keep me on the ground.

Excellent point. That is what I told my friends at school. But the other thing I tell them is that the reason we, as humans, can't comprehend, and therefore deny, God is because we simply do not have the capacity. God is perfect and all powerful, and therefore is beyond the scope of the human mind. Humans are only able to use ten percent of their brain, that leaves us with only the ability to comprehend whet we perceive. So most of the time, to many people, God is just a part of themselves they wish they could be. He is what they perceive and is then warped into what people hear.

I think the 10% thing is incorrect, we use more than that, but you point is still the same. 😄

Thank you Fire. I don't think that God exists, but that existence is God, and that God is not personally connected to us - sort of the atheist's God.

God exists to those who believe in him...

>>> I stopped believing in HIM for quite sometime and I managed to do everything right....

>>> Until one time... I failed to do something... and I think I was punished.... then I learned to call upon his name...

^^ It's confusing... I know, but the thing is... there will always be 3 types of people:

1.) God will provide type of people.
2.) My abilities will help me type of people
3.) Things happen because of destiny type of people...

Get the picture?

Good observation, but I think you left the 4th type of people out:

4.) Enlightened people, who see the real truth type of people.

No, god is not important to me. I don't even know if he exists, I'm inbetween, undecided. I just live my life, and take each thing as it comes to me. I believe that I make my own luck, and when something good comes my way, I am happy for it. I don't believe that god is the reason for all the good and bad in my life, I believe that I make my own life.

If you presume there is a real truth.

But question:

Isn't truth different to all of us? I mean... it's the source of all the rallies, protests...

example:

People protest against a president because they know the truth bout that political figure...

On the other side... people rally for the same man because they know that what the other side is spreading isn't true... and so they claim that they know the truth...

So what is the real truth?
