who says goku isnt fast enough to evade? And if you want to get technical, once any of the characters reach the speed of light, they would be fighting blind, because their sight wouldn't be able to catch up with them, and seeing as both of these characters are able to move/fight that fast, speed is irrelevent.

I'm not gonna admit that supes could take goku cause he can't , superman has had difficulty with much much much lesser opponents than goku, everyone....EVERYONE goku faced from the beginning of the z series was fully capible of destroying the earth at a whim except maybe his brother, who was a "chicken weakling" compared to the rest of the z fighters from then on in. Goku moves times faster than the speed of light. Movie six shows an insight into how fast he does move, and Superman's been hit by slower opponents than goku, Try darkseid, doomsday, hell even batman's clocked him. and you are trying to confince me that Goku wouldn't clean house with supes. (like I said Comparing Superman prime to goku at his best is absurd, because we never get to see goku at his best and it's anyone's guess at how powerful he'd become by the time his prime came around,,,,again. Hell if goku was alive for as long as superman prime he would just get stronger as he got older that's how saiyans work) You talk as if Superman were some sort of god, What happens when Goku destroys all the yellow sun's around. What happens if Goku instant transmisions Supes next to a red sun? Goku wouldn't know this but supes would have no idea how poweful goku is either....until it was too late. If goku had a place where he didn't have to hold anything back whatsoever it makes this fight a good 10 seconds before supes gets creamed. In what way isn't superman outclassed besides maybe brute strength? Supes has barely stood up to hulk, and literally got rocked by venom. I hate goku cause he's just like superman in a lot of ways, and I can't stand either of them, but I am not blinded to the fact that he cleans superman's clock.
Like I said four galaxies in the dbz universe, one is wiped out in an instant, Goku become four times stronger than that by the end of the Z series, and even stronger by the end of gt. that means one times four equals,,,,,,,yep the maths works out Goku could easily devistate the entire DBZ universe if he so chose. How the hell is Goku gonna stand up to that?
Goku's strongest is SSJ3 since SSJ4 is bull. Like I said before, PC is too fast for Goku. Goku would not even last a second because as soon as the fight starts, Superman flys right in front of his face so fast that it surprises Goku and knocks him to orbit. Take away the yellow sun? Superman is a battery and will not lose his powers so fast, he can still whoop his ass. Broly destroying a galaxy is not part of the manga, so don't even use that information. Superman destroyed a planet with one punch, yeah Goku sure can take such brute strength. And what happens when Goku can't beat his opponent(which is most of the time)? He uses the genki-dama. That sure as hell would kill Superman...
so what if the movies aren't part of the manga it's the powerlevels I'm using for the arguement and while the story lines don't coincide, the power levels are comparible. The movies are crap? what the hell do you call crisis of infinate earths? a masterpeice? ......**** .....that..... Kontraz was right about them moving so fast that they couldn't see eachother, and if that's what it came down to, Goku wins anyways, Goku can sense Supermans movements immediatly as he makes them, so if they're fighting blind advantage goes to him. I repeat none......zip.......no evidence that superman is faster than Goku in the least, or can hit harder for that matter. remember the punching pad the zwarriors were tapping and causing tons of force to exurt onto it. Goku was putting less effort in that than nocking on a door, and he was in his weakest stage. Superman may be able to lift or push more,,,,but Goku can unleash more power in his blows on average. You still haven't answered how superman's going to survive the destruction of a universe. Goku can instant transmition to king kais planet at least,,,,but supes....oh thats right he's dead.dead.dead.dead.....discredit that. Superman can't even outrun the destruction of his unisverse cause there's a damn wall there. wtf?
Goku's not going to destroy the universe, hell he wont even destroy a solar system because he doesnt work like that.
Putting Superman infront of a red sun is'nt going to weaken him. He can last months without a yellow sun because superman is a living solar battery.
If this is Goku vs Superman Prime im affraid Goku doesnt stand a chance. We dont even know how powerful SP is because he was only in about 10 comics. But on top of normal supes powers being x100 he has the last Gl ring, i think he has small esp abilities, the sword of truth allowing him to bend reality and time and oh yea he cant die. He is practicaly a god. Goku has no chance of winning against Superman Prime.
Pre or post crisis when Goku gets going Superman is out.

I look at this somewhat creatively.... which is the better character... Superman, hence I would vote for him. Still, a better argument could be Superman is so much smarter the Goku. I mean, he knows how to outsmart an enemy, how to out think one, not hard when Goku is slightly less intelligent in my books the a half chewed pencil eraser.
goku may be outmatched as we've ever seen n incarnation of him by prime, but your missing the point, we never see goku at his prime, since he would have to grow up again after being wished into a kid. Think about it, goku went from a power level of 100 as a child to well into the 100 millions as an adult. He's a child again and as his body grows so will his power again, if his power increase is comparible to the way it was when he first grew into a man, than who's to say that he couldn't beat prime.....anyways I think we should stick to the basic characters since 1. we never get to see goku in his prime. 2.superman prime isn't something that's happened yet, (tech) 3. even for the goku we have seen in action, he never goes all out so knowone really knows what kind of destruction he's capable off.

You sure know a lot of Superman and DBZ... manjaro, the auras might shake the earth, but PC destroyed a solar system with a sneeze. Goku sure is stronger than him since Goku can lift buildings and has a lot of stamina... Even if Goku and Superman were equal power, Goku would become tired, but Superman will keep going.
