magee the freeza blast thing happened in the episode right after goku transformed into a super saiyan for the first time, Even though his power was sufficiantly weaker than usual (cause he had been fighting all day) he easily dodged all of freeza's death beams, when freeza asked why he couldn't hit goku goku said it was cause he didn't say please. Freeza screams "please" as he unleashes a death beam at goku's head. Goku took a direct hit to his face and it just pushed his head back.

you're right about the sun thing, goku just draws power from living things on the planet he's on ect.

Goku can destroy an entire galaxy in a matter of moments, In the DBZ universe, it is divided into four hemisphere's of galaxies, (north, south east, and west,) in movie 8 one of these galaxies is completely obliterated by brolly the legendar super saiyan and everyone is scared he'll do it to the other galaxies as well. Everyone can assume goku can do the same simply based off comparison, (ex- if spiderman can lift a car, hulk can lift a car) because by the end of the z saga goku is far and above the power level brolly had. by the end of the GT saga he's insanely more powerful than the end of the z saga....hence, goku can destroy a galaxy in a matter of moments. hell in the cell saga trunks killed king cold who was terrified and confused because he had enough power to destroy an entire solar system and trunks was just toying with him,,,,and that was when trunks was a comparitive weakling, he couldn't even last five minutes with the androids much less go toe to toe with a perfect cell.
Just because a galaxy is enormous doesn't mean he can't do it...logic simply doesn't apply to dbz, like it was stated before the charactor's clothes get stronger as they get stronger..wtf? and a normal person learns how to fly through meditation of the course of a summer (videl)...yeah whatever, (I know I've learned how to fly through meditation too). and a species like freeza has adapted to be able to survive without breathing yet he still has a nose...and what a cute little nose it is.

and umm 17 from the z android/cell saga, (17 from gt would humiliate goku let alone superman I know goku beat him but damn was he ever lucky) and i just don't want anyone using the "17 could blow up the solar system" excuse i mean a straight up brawl between the two, much like piccolo vs. 17 in the show. Now that I think about it I'de love to se that fight.

and yes, goku CAN draw his energy directly from the sun. Remember when he was fighting lord slug? The sun had been blocked off from the earth, and goku (along with everyone else) was freezing. However, after he went above the clouds so he could once again feel the warmth of the sun, he wasn't just "heated up", but he thanked the sun for always giving him extra ki whenever he needed it...

and yes, galaxies do have a core. Take our galaxy for example.. our solar system is near the edge in one of the "arms". linking the arms is a huge cluster of solar systems so close together, they actually act as one large system. This is the core of the galaxy. Thus far, every galaxy discovered seems to have one...

I said it once and I'll say it agian, movies and GT are filler and sometimes crap. Don't try getting information from the damn movies and GT. This should stick with manga Goku. PC or Prime are so fast that they'll kill Goku before he can blink.

Yes the dbz movies are very very good. My personal fav is number 8 with brolly. Also movie 12 fused vegeta and goku vs Janemba and movie 9 with gohan vs bojack are very good too.

Even if the movie 8 is to be discarded which is crap as long as your using examples for a timeline that hasn't happened yet (if you can follow dc logic) I mean didn't cog kill supes in the future anyway?, I gave you another example right from the manga, King kold can waste entire solar systems (has he claims to ) and ss trunks kicks the crippity crap outa him in about 3 min. ss trunks gets at least 3 to 4 X that strong by the end of the cell saga (at least) and is still nothing compared to what goku is when he reaches the end of dbz at ss3 , at ss4 his powers are so ridiculously out of control it's worse than superman. You say superman prime this, superman prime that, but it honestly doesn't matter, technically we don't even get to see goku at his prime, He would have had to grow up again and with the power already at his disposal in a childbody, well at adult age it's really unfathomable.

What do destroying galaxies have to do anything in a fight? They say the Hulk is a threat to the multiverse, but some heroes and villains can still beat him. There is no chance of Goku winning. PC/Prime are to fast.
