So Goku and Superman both have abilities and such, it sounds like it would come down to a battle of endurance, whoever could outlast the other. Still, Goku sounds remarkably overpowered, and you know what they say about absolute power corrupting absolutely. Or with it comes great responsibility.... And besides, Superman has been around a lot longer, that has to give him some chance....
umm.... WHY would goku move a planet? I mean, i'm sure he COULD, but he's not going to randomly fly over to saturn and shift its position in the solar system for the heck of it.
and... WHY would goku use brute strength? in the dbz universe, energy is much more efficient. Its faster, covers more distance and area, and is stronger....
and if that's not convincing... Vegeta blew up a planet with ease using his energy, and that was long before he was a super saiyen. So, goku could easily blow up a planet, correct? well... it takes more force to cause something to explode than it does to simply move it...
Vegeta blowing up that planet was filler. Frieza destroyed planet Vegeta without effort. Destroying planets sure is a lot more effort... And since you people talked about SSJ4, Goku could barely lift a building and he was so tired. That is what it's gonna be in a fight against Superman. Goku would just tire out.
okay about the genki dama thing, you know i was just being a smartass right? ...guess not. anyways flash, I don't think you're quite grasping the concept, oku doesn't have to outmatch superman in brute strength to beat him, It's like Putting a guy like bane against bullseye. Bullseye has 101 different ways to kill bane w/o even touching him. Did you even read the blurb about the punching pad (at the beginning of the buu saga) i think the fact that they hit the pad with less effort than knocking on a door and still exurting far more pressure than ordinary humans has to account for something, especially when their not even powered up, especially when their not even ss, especially when their not even assended ss, especially wheh their not even powered up in ss, esp....well you get the idea) Who are you to say that Goku can't punch a planet into oblivion? Kontraz brings up an excellent point in that he's never had too for any reason, Just because I've never seen Superman pick up an elephant and chuck the poor thing into the sun, I don't question for a moment that he has the capibility to do so. and the vegeta thing filler or not, its the power level that matters and he had the power to do so.

lol dbgt is shit but super man prime is ok... uh NO. The punching pad arguement pretty much proves that if he really wanted to punch out a planet he could. Goku is as strong if not stronger, even if he isnt, goku trains in martial arts and whatnot, superman just uses brute strength and his other super powers.
The reason why they punched that machine so softly is because the other fighters are human. And how can you tell if you can destroy a planet with that machine? It doesn't matter if Goku charges up a genki-dama and throws it at Superman, Superman wouldn't even get hurt from it and just push it back because he's pure of heart. Since I don't watch GT, do they actually say that they fight for hours? And since you don't care if it's filler or not, then Superman rotates the earth back, making everything go back in time including Goku until he's a weak little kid and Superman just knocks his teeth out.
